A challenge only becomes an obstacle when you bow to it.

THIS WEEK WE WILL BE BLOGGING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – ARTICHOKE. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

It’s almost the week-end again!

As I woke up this morning, I was thinking about every challenge that Dan and I have overcame took us small steps to create our goals.

Just a reminder, it will help you achieve that big, fearless goal you have dreamt of, one small challenge at a time.

However, one word of caution; don’t wait for things to be perfect or for your wake up-call to kick you out of your comfort chair.

Dan and I chose to change, to challenge ourselves, to grow.

It was after several such “slaps”, but better late than never.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

Starting a new month with a new chapter - CHAPTER 4; HAPPILY, CONNECTE

Self-sufficiency is no recipe for a happy life much of our comfort and stimulation comes from others.

At the heart of their social network most adults would identify an intimate partnership a kinship group and a more fluid collection of friends.

Beyond that are neighbors, workmates and more casual acquaintances.

People who use, say, the same gym or bus stop.

Even the most peripheral contacts can be rewarding, can offer insight, warmth, humor, compassion, moral support, practical help.

Three things are needed form us to derive most benefit from our fellow human being’s openness, empathy and communication.

With the golden triad we can enrich our lives, overcoming relationship issues and exploring positive experiences we can share.

LOVE IS THE ONLY SANE AND SATISFACTORY ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF HUMAN EXISTENCE. By Erich Fromm

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE

LOVE IS WHAT HOLDS HEARTS TOGETHER WHEN MINDS DISAGREE!

MIND GAMES; TACTICS

TALKING THROUGH THE PROBLEM

CONFRONTATION –

Continue today on; STEP- 1: FIGURE OUT THE CONTROL TECHNIQUES

One of the cleverest manipulative techniques.

Recognize the control techniques your difficult person uses;

1. It may sound like

I’m too tired

Too sick

Too busy

Not able

Need you to do this

Don’t have enough money

Talent or ability

2. It may be compulsive behaviors.

Drinking

Sex

Food addictions

Illness

3. It may be irritating behaviors.

Such as your partner refusing to be on time until you are screaming, I’m leaving.

4. The person may use withdrawal of whatever you hold dear or need.

5. The behavior may include;

Pouting

Whimpering

Pleading

Stomping

Demanding

Rewards

Withdrawal

Avoidance

Silence

6. It often includes verbal assault and freely using negative comparisons and guilt.

Some difficult people are brash and loud; others are subtle and quiet.

7. It probably includes cutting jokes and put-downs,

8. Interruptions that short-circuit the expression of opinion and ideas are to be expected.

Tomorrow, STEP 2; PRACTICE BEING OBJECTIVE-

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Starting today on the herb; ARTICHOKE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how artichoke can help keep your body healthy?

According to USDA artichokes might be low in saturated fat and cholesterol while being a rich source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

They contain vitamins including vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin B-6, B-12, A, E, D, and vitamin K.

They also provide minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc, sodium, potassium, manganese, phosphorus, and zinc.

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

FIND A PLACE INSIDE WHERE THERE'S JOY, AND THE JOY WILL BURN OUT THE PAIN.

Until Friday, when the going gets tough,

put one foot in front of the other and just keep going.

Don’t give up.
