RECAPPING THIS WEEK SERIES ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.

Hello Followers,

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Father’s Day is the perfect chance to return the love you receive from the father.

Whether you’re quarantining with your family or haven’t seen them in a while because you live far away, Father’s Day is a great reminder to show gratitude to the amazing man who guides you through life.

Father’s come in all shapes and sizes and it doesn’t matter if he raised you from day one, barely saw you because he worked long hours to support your family or you found him later on in life; celebrate the father figure who guides and supports you through it all on this special day.

Think about something he really loves and make a day of it.

Regardless of how near or far you live to this amazing man, a thoughtful, personalized Father’s Day card or a phone call is the perfect way of expressing your love and gratitude to him.

And if your father has all ready left earth, like Dan and mine.

We celebrate them by honoring them with the memory of going through pictures of when they were here with us.

Remembering the special milestones with them.

Where would we be without dads?

Honestly, who would spin those charming childhood stories?

Now, let’s continue with exploring the 13th experience that we all experience and that is, getting married.

Not everyone gets married, but for those who do, it’s an important life milestone.

You’ve found a person you want to spend the rest of your life with, and together, you say your vows.

Whether you say them in front of a huge crowd, or just in front of a judge at the courthouse, it’s a moment you’ll always remember.

Dan and I ran off to the Keys and got married.

We found a Methodist Church and talked the minister into marrying us.

He had a son and daughter, both under 18 as our witnesses.

As I look back, I would not have done it any other way.

Together Dan and I look back as this being one of our most precious moments.

Our daughter’s wedding was much different.

Dan was able to walk her down the aisle.

If your married, do you remember that special day?

Did you have a simple one or a big one?

It’s the 19th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?

Besides being Father’s Day, Its National Martini Day – June 19, 2022

Do you prefer it dry, dirty, shaken, or not stirred?

Or not!

That’s the question we’re all asking on National Martini Day, a special occasion to enjoy your favorite version of the classic martini cocktail.

The martini was originally called “The Martinez,” named after the California Gold Rush for the town of Martinez, where it was invented.

Early martinis were made with wine, gin, and an olive.

But since have expanded to many exciting flavors!

So, this June 19 take a moment to relax while sipping on a new type of martini after your long day.

It’s also, Turkey Lovers’ Day – June 19, 2022

This day is dedicated to turkey lovers across America.

For those who believe that Turkey is something they can only have on Thanksgiving, this day is quite an eye-opener.

There are plenty of exciting and mouthwatering recipes you can make with turkey throughout the year.

The fact that it is rich in protein and low in fat also makes it a healthy option.

Compared to other national days, Turkey Lovers’ Day is relatively new.

It was founded by the National Turkey Federation, an organization that has been promoting the use of turkey as part of America’s cuisine for the past eight decades, and Turkey Lovers’ Day was an important step in that direction.

Why not put all the holidays together and celebrate this milestone with your father with a martini and a turkey dinner?

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

LIFE IS A COLLECTION OF MOMENTS. MINDFULNESS IS THE BEAUTIFICATION OF THE MOMENTS. IN EVERY MOMENT THERE ARE SO MANY MIRACLES AROUND US, BUT WE RARELY NOTICE THEM AND WE SEE THEM AS ORDINARY.

RECAPPING THIS WEEK SERIES ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.

Focus on quality and ease of movement, not on the age a milestone is accomplished.

There are no successes and failures in life, only achievements - milestones.

Throughout the many decades of your life, many milestones will be made that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead.

I’ve discovered that every time we reach a milestone, we’re there, but there’s another waiting for us.

Milestones come in all shapes and sizes.

One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of milestones.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP

HELP ISN’T DOING IT FOR SOMEONE; IT’S HOLDING A HAND WHILE HE OR SHE DOES IT.

If you are a friend or family member of someone who is messing up their life and possibly throwing away their potential, it’s not only hard to stand by and just watch the desiccation, it’s wrong.

It’s important to touch others with concern and caring when an outside perspective might jump-start some healthier choices.

And even though it’s a no-brainer that the best help may flow from someone who is emotionally healthy, few of us have it all together all the time and if we wait until we do; it may be too late to buoy up someone about whom we care.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?

Ashwagandha helps boost testosterone and increase fertility in men.

Ashwagandha supplements have been shown in some studies to benefit male fertility and increase testosterone levels.

In one study, 43 overweight men ages 40–70 who had mild fatigue took tablets containing ashwagandha extract or a placebo daily for 8 weeks.

The ashwagandha treatment was associated with an 18% greater increase in DHEA-S, a sex hormone involved in testosterone production.

Participants who took the herb also had a 14.7% greater increase in testosterone than those who took the placebo.

Additionally, a review of four studies found that ashwagandha treatment significantly increased sperm concentration, semen volume, and sperm motility in men with low sperm count.

It also increased sperm concentration and motility in men with normal sperm count.

The researchers concluded that there’s currently not enough data to confirm the potential benefits of ashwagandha for male fertility.

NOTE: Ashwagandha helps increase testosterone levels and may have some potential benefits for male fertility.

However, more research is needed.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
