Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience.
RECAPPING this past week June 2 to June 6, 2021
Hello followers,
Dan and I are experts on patience, this is the eleventh law of karma. You can drive yourself crazy, behave irritably, feel victimized, or try to force an outcome; which are all self-defeating reactions that alienate others and bring out the worst in them.
Or, you can learn to transform frustration with patience. Throughout the years after I was diagnosed with breast cancer and Dan with prostate cancer and heart issues; we have learned to be patient.
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish. — John Quincy Adams
Patience doesn’t mean passivity or resignation, but power. It’s an emotionally freeing practice of waiting, watching, and knowing when to act.
I’m defining patience as an active state, a choice to hold tight until intuition says, “Make your move.” It means waiting your turn, knowing your turn will come. Once you’ve gone all out toward a goal, it entails trusting the flow.
With patience, you’re able to delay gratification, but doing so will make sense and feel right.
Why?
Intuition intelligently informs patience. It’ll convey when to have it and if something is worth working on or waiting for. While frustration focuses on externals, patience is a drawing inward towards a greater wisdom.
Patience doesn’t make you unable to set boundaries with people. Rather, it lets you intuit the situation to get a larger, more loving view to determine the right action.
Patience, a gift when given or received, moves within reach when you can read someone’s deeper motives.
Practicing patience will help stress and give you a choice about how you respond to disappointment and frustration. When you can stay calm, centered, and not act rashly out of frustration, all areas of your life will improve.
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
THERE ARE 12 LAWS OF KARMA
Law eleventh – THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD
What you focus on increases. Don’t compare your life to others, and don’t look at everything in your life that you are lacking. Look instead at the things you have, the good in your life.
Separate your mind from negative events. Continue to do your best and move forward. Eventually, everything will work out in your favor, even if it doesn’t appear so today.
SLOW DOWN YOUR SHARING
It’s understandable to want to share every element of your life on social media. Maybe it was your delicious breakfast or perhaps there was a beautiful sunrise on your commute to work. Take time to think about how much of your life you’re putting out for public consumption; and how it might be affecting your daily decisions from the clothes you wear to the food you eat and the places you go.
Decide to spend a day without sharing or if that’s too much, choose only one thing to share each day. You’ll find when you’re not worried about producing the perfect photo, you can fulfil your own needs; without considering anyone else.
SIMPLE JOYS
If you’re feeling the weight of life resting heavily on your shoulders, choose a cheesy pop song, turn it up loud and dance while no one is watching. Dancing has been proven to lift your mood and stop you feeling sluggish. For extra impact sing loudly while you dance!

And that is how change happens. One gesture. One person. One moment at a time.
One can see only what’s in the mirror, regardless of whether it’s present in reality or not.
I am open to the guidance of synchronicity, and do not let expectations hinder my path.
Remember there are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from.
The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.
Every Day Can Be a Starting Point - Make a New Beginning.
You must be the change you want to see in the world.
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress). So, by now you know this is always in our routine for healing and keeping our body cells happy.
Back using the walk app after a mini vacation. Yesterday it was 89F with a slight breeze, but Dan and I were determined to walk at least two miles. Our secret is a stop 🛑 between miles at our favorite coffee shop.
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!! Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.
We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
FOCUS ON
What you focus on increases. Don’t compare your life to others, and don’t look at everything in your life that you are lacking. Look instead at the things you have, the good in your life. Separate your mind from negative events. Continue to do your best and move forward. #focus #increases #compare #life #lacking #things #good #separate #mind #negative #events #best #forward #inspirational #motivational
Until Monday, here is a saying from Robert H Schuller that I would like to leave you with. Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come. BE PATIENT!!
