During these uncertain days we believe and rely on the media, family and friends for the truth. As I was growing up, I was programed to believe my elders; I had no doubt not to believe them for they had more experience in life then I did!

Our human nature makes us seek other people, form relationships, and communicate with each other. A fundamental aspect of our interactions with others, especially our loved ones, is the level of trust we share. Truth and lies are two different ways of communicating with others and two ways of making sense of our world.

People always find lies more exciting and thrilling that the truth. Lies are like a virus that spreads easily around and contaminates the truth, making it impossible for people to separate actual facts from malicious rumors. This is quite like the media today.

The way people communicate with each other is heavily influenced by the level of trust that they share and the situations in which they find themselves caught. We instinctively judge others according to our values. If we find lying tolerable or acceptable, we tend to trust people, thinking they share the same view on lies.

The truth is rarely simple, yet this does not mean that we should give up on telling the truth.

The fact that the truth is complex is not an excuse to resort to comfortable lies. Lies can disguise themselves as truth but eventually, the truth comes to light.

An important aspect of communicating the truth is learning how to be sensible about it.

Truths, especially controversial ones, must always be communicated with gentle respect and affection otherwise, the message will never be received with the attention it deserves.

As a whole, humanity is very stubborn. People don’t like truths that invalidate their opinions, values, or beliefs. This makes it difficult for those who know a certain truth to convince others.

They will be dismissed or mocked, yet time brings them justice.

For a healthy and stress-free life, it is best to assume that people we interact with are trustworthy and sincere. As much good faith as we would have, we should not forget to always verify facts and ask for second opinions to make sure that the truth we hear is not a prefabricated, intelligent lie.

This is so true in the medical world. When I was diagnosed ten years ago with breast cancer, my doctor told me that, “IT IS WHAT IT IS”. When I asked him if there is any other thing, I can do other then surgery, chemo or radiation; his response was “NO”. Perhaps if Dan and I had listened to our doctor, you may not be seeing this blog and information. This is why I’m very passionate on sharing information, for you to research for possible treatments without side effects.

Now, continuing on INFORMATION FROM THE CANCER CONTROL SOCIETY CONVENTION OF 2017 – INTERNATIONAL TREATMENTS. Today I will be blogging on RIGVIR VIROTHERAPY.

Rigvir Virotherapy treatment has been used on a wide variety of cancers including melanoma, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, uterine cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and several types of sarcoma.

Virotherapy is theorized to be an effective cancer treatment that uses an oncotropic and oncolytic virus with the ability of a virus to find and destroy malignant cells in the body. Rigvir contains a live nonpathogenic ECHO-7 virus that has not been genetically modified. It finds and selectively infects tumor cells. Then replicates in tumor cells and destroys them. Both of these processes — oncotropism and oncolysis — are selective for tumor cells and normal healthy cells are minimally affected, if at all.

Rigvir is an oncolytic, nonpathogenic ECHO-7 virus that significantly prolongs survival in early-stage melanoma patients without any side effects.

The ECHO-7 virus can be found naturally in the intestines of healthy young children. This virus co-exists with other micro-organisms in the intestines without causing any side effects. This means that patients can make use of Rigvir Virotherapy during long periods of time without adverse side effects.

In fact, doctors have noted that Rigvir seems to actually strengthen the immune system and help the body naturally prevent the growth of cancerous cells.

ECHO-7 is one of a number of viruses that are oncotropic, which means that they migrate selectively to cancer cells. The virus enters and then multiplies within these cancer cells through a process called oncolysis, which destroys them. At the same time, the virus makes the cancer cells visible to the body's immune system. Many tumors develop the ability to mask themselves from the immune system, which is why the body is unable to fight off cancer cells.

This problem is overcome through the direct ability of Rigvir to target and kill cancer cells, combined with its indirect ability to revive the body's immune response to cancer.

Pharmaceutical companies are trying to develop virotherapy-based anti-cancer candidates. However, their therapies are based on pathogenic viruses that cause diseases such as HIV-AIDS, herpes, polio, measles, and influenza. The viruses are genetically altered to remove their pathogenicity, with unknown long-term consequences.

Clinical studies conducted with Rigvir in Latvia by Dr. Aina Muceniece have suggested it to be 3-4 times better when compared to selected immunotherapies. Patients experienced a 5-year survival rate of 75 percent for melanoma with metastasis to the lymph node and 53 percent for patients with more invasive melanoma that has penetrated 4 millimeters or more into the skin.

Stage II melanoma patients demonstrated a 4-6-fold lowered mortality rate compared to those under observation who did not receive Rigvir.

Yesterday, Dan and I went for a drive up to this town in the mountains of Virginia; Floyd. A place to escape where there is Blue Grass music and a country kitchen store. Two years ago, while visiting Virginia before moving there, this little town caught my eye. Peaceful, laid back and friendly, Dan and I enjoyed it then and now.
