All you must do is look around you to find beauty in life.

CONTINUING THIS WEEKS WITH, HOW CELEBRATING EACH DAY IS GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH? PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Happy Hump Day!

Reminder for this holiday season, words have an impact on communication and your thoughts.

Going back a few years ago, my thoughts written between the pages.

THE STAR ON TOP OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE

The star on top of the Christmas tree, as you look up in the sky, we see the bright twinkling star shinning down which in nature is on top of every tree.

The past six years, Dan and I have been exploring a whole new life.

Moving to Mexico, taught us in so many ways.

We were able to keep healthy at the same time exploring another country.

This was our escape from cancer.

Healing our body, heart, and soul in this magical world full of wonderful people we met.

The star on my Christmas tree followed me to a whole new way of life.

I learned the culture, the beauty of the land, but most of all the stars that you see up above are the same stars they see.

They glow on top of the trees there also.

Love shines wherever you go, Dan and I learned this by experiencing this with sharing lives that we would have never thought ever knowing.

We took that leap physically and mentally and enjoyed every second.

Remember, when you look up in the sky tonight and see the stars sparkling among the trees, that I am looking at the same ones and sending love back to you.

So, the star on top of the Christmas tree is full of positive energy for the next year.

Dan and I wish family, friends, and everyone from all over the world that we met, peace, health, love, and ha0ppiness.

The stars shinning up on every tree in nature is the same everywhere.

As we continue to celebrate this holiday season, Dan and I are starting a new series; HOW CELEBRATING EACH DAY IS GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH?

Today, fourth good reason to celebrate-

Celebration is positive magnification.

What we focus on expands.

When we downplay or skip celebration, we are telling ourselves that we have not done enough to be proud of ourselves, so our self-doubt is what expands.

Want to complete more projects with less procrastination and guilt?

Then do not skip this powerful stage of the process.

Celebrate more often and stay on it longer.

Honor your completions, both big and small, in celebration so that you expand more of what you want in your life.

Tomorrow, fifth good reason to celebrate-

DECEMBER 21st, Dan, and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about December that is so significant during this month?

Winter Solstice – December 21, 2022

December Solstice or the Winter Solstice has always inspired mythical celebrations.

The earliest humans learned to observe the sun’s path and the length of daylight.

They noticed patterns of shifting sunrises and sunsets throughout the year.

To better understand the phenomenon, many ancient cultures dedicated monuments to charting the sun’s movement.

Some historians believe that ‘Macchu Picchu’ in Peru and ‘Stonehenge’ in England followed the sun’s progress throughout the year.

Today, we know a solstice is an ‘astronomical event.’

The earth orbits around the sun at a tilt, not upright.

What this means is the Northern and Southern Hemispheres take turns receiving the sun’s light directly.

Thus, the earth’s tilt creates the onset of summer and winter, not our distance from the sun.

On the December Solstice, the Northern Hemisphere is at the farthest away from the sun.

It is why the days become shorter, and the nights become longer during this time.

December Solstice marks the official beginning of winter.

The solstice takes place at the same time everywhere on earth.

You would need to research the exact time of the solstice per C.S.T. or U.S.T. time and calculate the difference per your time zone.

December Solstice has deep spiritual connotations too.

When daylight increasingly retreats, it symbolizes a period of going within.

For many cultures, this is a time of rest and introspection.

At the same time, it is also a celebration of light and the anticipation of spring.

Solstice festivities differ widely across countries.

It is incredible how this astronomical phenomenon binds so many cultures.

Each one has a different interpretation of this most special time of the year.

No matter where you are in the world, the occurrence deserves celebration.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes, one quote and share with you.

Today is:

IF YOU WALK IN JOY, HAPPINESS IS CLOSE BEHIND.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; TOUCH

TOUCH THE ESSENCE OF CARE-

SWITCHING ON THE SENSE

Continuing from yesterday, RELAXING BACK MASSAGE-

The room needs to be warm, and the person being massaged should be on a mat or futon cushion.

This should be covered with fluffy towels, propped up with pillows so they are comfortable.

The massage is given kneeling beside like person.

It is better to work on the floor, which is firm, rather than on a bed where the springs tend to give under your weight.

You need to kneel by your friends’ hips, on whichever side feels most comfortable to you.

THREE BACK MASSAGE BLENDS

Base: four teaspoons sweet almond carrier oil (enough for a single application).

RELAXING-

Three drops lavender

Three drops rosewood

Four drops mandarin

INVIGORATING-

Four drops rosemary

Three drops lemon

Three drops petitgrain

SENSUAL-

Four drops sweet orange

Two drops ylang ylang

Four drops sandalwood

Tomorrow, BACK MASSAGE SEQUENCE

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
