Trees are such an important part of our lives and our connection to nature.
They give us shelter, shade, pull in carbon dioxide, give out oxygen; they store carbon, stabilize the earth, and help boost wildlife not just small mammals such as squirrels but also birds, insects, lichen, and fungi.
Hugging a tree can help release hormones which make you feel calm and happier.
You can also meditate with your back leaning on the tree; this is useful if you feel self-conscious.
This meditation is to help you connect with tree energy.
I can see tree auras, and this meditation works with the energy field or aura of the tree.
Work within six feet of the tree trunk.
For the purposes of this meditation, you can visualize a tree in your mind’s eye, or you can practice this meditation out in nature with a physical tree.
It can be a favorite tree you have or, if using visualization, imagine a favorite tree.
Traditionally, tree energy has been used for healing purposes.
In working with the tree energy, give some loving energy back to the tree.
The focus is purely on energy exchange, nothing physical needs to be given or taken from the tree.
Every tree has a spirit so treat the tree with respect; honor the spirit of the tree and the spirit in you.
Until Friday, a tree is a treasured gift from nature that you can hug and feel love.
