Today we are going to explore stress reduction through outdoor recreation.
Outdoor recreation is a remarkable remedy for the pressures of life, providing a natural way to unwind and recharge.
By participating in outdoor activities, people can temporarily escape their everyday obligations and find solace in the soothing presence of nature.
Spending time outside can reduce cortisol levels, the stress hormone, promoting a calmer and more balanced mindset.

GROUNDING
Today as we continue our series on grounding, Dan and I will explore the second practices for you to try with us.
Mountain Pose and Breathe: Stand with arms at your sides, inhale deeply through your nose as you raise your arms overhead, and rise onto your toes.
Hold for a count of four, then exhale as you lower your arms and feet.
Repeat three times, filling your lungs with nature’s fresh air.
This 10-minute guided meditation for grounding is a simple yet powerful tool to help you reconnect with the present moment, calm your mind, and center yourself.
In just a few minutes, you can release stress, alleviate anxiety, and restore a sense of balance by focusing on your breath and your connection to the earth.
