Hello followers,

Thank goodness for Friday!

Today is Dan and my 42nd wedding anniversary.

Love is a promise of companionship, of having someone to share all of life’s experiences.

Love does not promise that there will not be any rough times, just the assurance that there will be someone who cares and will help you through to better times.

Love does not promise eternal romance, just eternal love, and commitment.

Love cannot prevent disappointments, disillusionment, or grief, but it can offer hope, acceptance, and comfort.

Love cannot protect you from making individual choices or shelter you from the world, but it will help to reassure you that there is someone by your side who truly cares.

When the world hurts you and makes you feel vulnerable, love offers the promise that there will be someone waiting to listen, to console, to inspire.

Love is the joining of two people who share the promise that only love can make, to share the sunshine and the shadows and to experience a richer, more fulfilling life because of it.

My Fairy Tale Wedding –

We started the day out by going to the Time-Sharing Resort for the tour and pitch for our free night at the resort and steak dinner, and then off to the grocery store to pick out some flowers for my hair and to get a coffee cake for our wedding cake for later.

Then off to the liquor store for some wine, for after we can toast our wedding.

Also, along the way something for breakfast.

After getting all the odds and ends together, I laid my rainbow wedding dress on the picnic table to iron it along with Dan’s plaid like shirt, I was getting some looks from other campers.

Now, I was ready to take a shower in the public showers at the campground and get dressed for my wedding.

Putting on my make-up, blowing dry my hair, and putting flowers in my hair.

What looks I was getting, but I did not care for I was getting married today.

It was time!

 This is it!

Got to the church and Pastor Frank was there to greet us with our witnesses, best man, and maid of honor.

They were his children, David 13, and Susan 14.

But before we got started with the vows, the altar had a railing around it where you could kneel, so I took this moment to kneel and pray.

I felt this present, my dad.

It was like he was there with us in spirit, and he approved.

Now the moment, Dan and I walked down the aisle together and when we got to the altar Pastor Frank and his kids joined us and the vows were said.

You may know kiss the bride.

Off to the Time-Sharing for our honeymoon night, with the steak dinner and after the coffee cake and wine.

As we look back at our special day, we would not have done it any other way.

THE WORD OF THE DAY- CALM

Take a deep breath and consider these brief life lessons to embrace peace and serenity.

Keeping calm and carrying on, as the old saying goes, seems easier said than done lately during such tense and unpredictable times.

However, it is in these sorts of situations that it is even more important to stay grounded and cultivate our inner peace.

Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves together. —Thomas Carlyle

Everyday life is so full of hustle and bustle, which is why it is important to take a few moments of quiet time for yourself each day.

Even better?

There are plenty of ways to relax for free, which will further ease your mind.

Counting your blessings and thinking about what you are grateful for goes a long way in calming your mind and spirit.

Try starting a gratitude journal to document all those good things in your life.

FIND YOUR CALM

To create a sense of calm in a chaotic world is no easy task.

You must seize moments of ease and joy when they come, and craft a life in which moments of peace are welcomed when they arrive.

How can you invite more calm into your life?

Whether it is cultivating meditation, breathing practice, or using exercise to settle your heart, you have a measure of control over your sense of calm.

Invite it into your day with intention.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

The meditation will lead you to a place of profound serenity, where the mind settles, and the heart finds solace.

In this oasis of inner calm, you will reconnect with your true essence, uncovering a profound sense of peace that extends beyond meditation itself.

With each breath, you will cultivate the art of stillness, empowering yourself to navigate the day with heightened clarity and resilience.

Embrace this precious gift of time and let the 10-minute guided meditation be the anchor that grounds you in the present, nourishing your soul and inviting serenity into every facet of your life.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Dan and I welcome you to go to the tag words and explore our posts.

Until Saturday, there is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.

I also would like to wish my older sister, Linda, a Happy Birthday!
