Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.

CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON HAPPINESS AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

It’s Friday and the week-end begins!

I can’t help to notice that the other day when Dan and I went to the mall to do our walk routine, they have just past Thanksgiving by.

Christmas decorations were everywhere!

I guess, Dan and I can’t complain for we have the best of both worlds; fall outside the mall and Christmas inside the mall.

So, we are thankful for being able to experience the four seasons, it’s something for me; being a Florida girl.

This leads into the creating this post of tapping into our energy.

We need to tap into the energy field of information around us and reprogram it.

Every trauma we have had in our lives impacts our mind and body.

In fact, many of our health problems are actually caused by unhealed emotions and constant overstimulation.

However, it is possible to change our crippling internal narratives by repairing our overactive fight-or-flight system, which controls the response to danger and is involved in regulating digestion, mood, sexuality, energy and the immune system.

Psychologists have tried to dig deep into traumas for decades, without finding that key that will unlock the trauma and release it.

Medicine men and shamans have known this skill for thousands and thousands of years.

Energy medicine is where we can go into the information field that surrounds every person, look at where in the field the trauma sits, look at its origin and release the tension where it grips hold.

This enables them to break free from the hold into a brighter future.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 1; HAPPILY, YOURSELF

Today, AVOID NEGATIVE SELF-TALK

Negative self-talk is self-fulfilling.

You inwardly dwell on your faults, which makes you feel low, which leads you to perceive further faults.

But you can refuse to listen.

Treat these bad thoughts about yourself with mindful curiosity and don’t take them seriously.

Stand back from them and be your best self.

Tomorrow, ELIMINATE BAD HABITS-

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

HAPPINESS

It takes a while to figure out who you are, what you need and want, and what you don’t.

Up to two-thirds of life is spent just figuring out these basic things.

Because of the time invested in that process, the last third of your life will be ridiculously amazing.

Life has only just begun.

Live it to the fullest.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

DID YOU KNOW?

Left-handed Egyptian pharaoh Ramesses II built more monuments and major statues than any other Egyptian king.

His sixty-seven-year reign marks the last peak of Egypt’s imperial power.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 9 – LET THE PAST GO

When we detach enough to stop pushing, we allow the person to decide what they want to do.

Melody Beattie in Codependent No More wrote, sometimes detachment even motivates and frees people around us to begin to solve their problems.

We stop worrying about them, and they pick up the slack and finely start worrying about themselves.

What a grand plan!

We each mind our own business.

Tomorrow, CONSIDER THE LESSONS LIFE TEACHES –

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ELDER. It’s amazing what and how elder can help keep your body healthy?

Elder trees grow as a small deciduous tree or shrub up to 30 feet tall.

The opposite leaves are pinnately divided with an odd number of opposite leaflets.

The leaves often have serrated edges.

The flowers are cream colored and grow in flat umbel-shaped clusters (corymbs).

In Los Angeles they are harvesting their flowers in January and February.

In the Deep South, elder produces flowers again in the early fall.

It has been said, with some truth, that our English summer is not here until the Elder is fully in flower, and that it ends when the berries are ripe. - Maude Grieve, Modern Herbal, 1940

The flowers ripen into large clumps of dark colored berries (ranging from blue to black).

There are several varieties of elders that can be interchangeably used.

What about the red-berried elders?

Yes, the red berries of Sambucus racemose can be used to make jams and jellies.

Sambucus racemose has a higher content of cyanogenic compounds and should always be prepared with heat, strained of the seeds, and never eaten raw in large quantities.

These red berries are mealier than the blue varieties.

I’ve heard several herbalists say they use the flowers from the S. racemose the same way they use the flowers of the blue and black varieties of elders.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Late start, lots of chores today around the apartment. Nevertheless, was able to get our walk in.

Today we went to the local mall to walk for it was raining.

Loved it, for it's the season. Outside fall and in the mall Christmas.

Happy Place Meditation

Happy place meditation by Dr. Eva Adriana Wilson

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash #tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

BE HAPPY FOR THIS MOMENT 😃

Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.

Until Saturday, if you want to be sad, no one in the world can make you happy. But if you make up your mind to be happy, no one and nothing on earth can take that happiness from you.

DAN AND I WISH YOU A SUPER DUPER FRIDAY.
