By words we learn thoughts, and by thoughts we learn life.

STARTING ON A NEW SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND CONTINUING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FROM LAST WEEK. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Well, It’s Hump Day! Dan and I wish all of you the best of the rest of this week.

During the course of this year, I have been blogging mostly on ways to prevent disease and keeping one’s body healthy.

Dan and I have attempted through posting some basic and common words that we all run across daily; how we can turn around karma, intuition, forgiveness, trust, appreciation, love and thoughts and words.

I personally never thought these words could affect how our bodies react and cause disease.

This week I’m focusing on thoughts and words. Stop and as you read this series of thoughts and words; check out the power that it does to our health.

Our mind-body connection is far more powerful than we realize.

Our thoughts influence our emotions and how we experience the world around us. Even when we imagine future situations or visualize potential outcomes, our bodies physically respond to our thoughts.

Think of how you react when someone cuts you off in traffic and nearly causes an accident.

The incident may only last a moment, and, at that instant, your body immediately prepares for the potential outcome, triggering a surge of adrenaline, which is the body’s hormonal response to a fight or flight situation. This sort of physical reaction isn’t limited to a release of adrenaline.

Our thoughts can trigger our bodies to experience all types of physiological responses from changes in blood pressure and heart rate to chemical alterations in the brain. These changes can be harmless, or, over time, they can be detrimental to your health.

Will continue tomorrow –

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

Be aware of your words as you say them.

Words are so very powerful, and you never know what state of mind someone is in at any time.

You choose your words, but you cannot choose the effect they will have on people.

Always speak out of love.

True power does not crush others but helps them see their greatness.

Sometimes words are better left unsaid. Other times those unspoken words could make all the difference in the world.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

WITH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

TELL A STORY WITH A PHOTO

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will continue on – CHAPTER FOUR, GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHOICE!

The hope is for a new beginning.

Of course, you have a choice.

How I wish I had a magic formula that would open the eyes of those who say, I have no choice.

The proper question is, should I stay or should I leave?

People who believe they have no choice are fence-sitters. And as we’ve seen, fence-sitting is an internal blindness that turns a person into a victim because he or she feels powerless to change the situation.

It’s far easier to blame someone for your predicament than to hold yourself accountable to make the best you can out of a difficult situation.

It’s like blaming the golf course when you hit a ball into the rough.

Sometimes quitting is the only way to not quit.

Until then, stay tune.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ROSEMARY. It’s amazing what and how rosemary can help keep your body healthy?

Involuntary contractions are most times as a result of an underlying medical condition that can contribute to a deterioration of health if not properly treated.

Rosemary is able to provide relief to nearly all types of spasms as it may effectively initiate normal contractions in nerves, muscles and even the intestines in order to promote better movement of the muscles and organized or regulated contraction in other parts of the body.

Spasms can afflict any muscle system, and given diet is on point, rosemary is a welcome addition.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Feel More Optimistic (Ten Minute Guided Meditation) Positive Thinking

This 10-minute positive thinking guided meditation will leave you feeling more optimistic about life, your future, and how everything will work out for you in the end.

If you have found yourself caught in a negative thought pattern, give this a try and see how it changes your mood. Enjoy!

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

BY THOUGHTS WE LEARN LIFE

By words we learn thoughts, and by thoughts we learn life.

Dan and I welcome you to our YouTube page and enjoy our creative mini inspirational video's.

Until Thursday, remember change is always possible. What holds us back from making the changes we desire are our own limiting thoughts and actions. Thoughts have energy. Make sure your thoughts are positive and powerful.
