Thank goodness it is Friday,


Winter is the perfect time for curling up beside the fire with a good book, spending quality time with the ones we love, and getting caught up in the magic of Christmas and the promise of a New Year to come.



Winter is the most magical of seasons.

THE WORD OF THE DAY – HEAT


 Winter is not winter without cold and cozy days.


Days where you warm yourself with the perfect book, soups, and stews, and hours of television all while wrapped in blankets and wool socks.



For Dan and me, winter is a season of reflection and of rest.


A time to stay instead and enjoy the heat of the fireplace.


To indulge in being a bit lazier than usual.


Truth be told, it is a time for recovery and renewal.



And keeping warm.

CREATE WARMTH


The world gives you warmth in so many ways.


Every place of clothing that keeps you warm is woven and stitched thread by thread, yard by yard, into what you wrap around your body.


How many hands hold the clothing that holds you?



Someone planted the seeds for the cotton, fed the lamb that grew your wool, cut, and sewed every shirt in your closet.


Even your warmest socks, likely knit by machine, had human hands touch them every step of the way.



PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

This is very simple, if you are connected, grounded, and centered.


You can raise your vibration, your body temperature, and increase your chi with visualization and intention.


It just takes a few moments to be mindful and aware of your own energy.



A higher vibration is great for your health and well-being as your cells and body systems do not function well when they are sluggish.


You can control your chi and your body temperature.
