Do not let negativity from yesterday dull the sparkle of today.
Hello followers,
HAPPY WEEKEND!
What are you planning this weekend?
Dan and I most weekends like to spend time at our local parks and walk.
Love exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Plus, nature is one way to nourish your soul!
For thousands of years and generations upon generations, we lived in nature.
Nature connected us to each other and to a higher power.
But as we live our lives increasingly inside (Americans spend up to 90% of their time indoors), we have started to lose that connection to the world outside of us.
So much as breathing fresh air can give you more energy and help you heal faster.
But when it comes to our souls, have you ever gazed up at the night sky, looking at light that traveled millions or billions of years to get to us?
Nature brings us a connection to a higher power and a pure sense of soulful being that we can’t get staring at our computers all day.
This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.
Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.
This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.
Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!
Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.
By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.
CHAPTER 3; INTUITION/SIX SENSE
SENSORY CREATIVITY
Continuing from yesterday, once you appreciate the individual gifts of each one of the five senses; you can use them to enhance your creative output.
As you do this, you may very well find that the other senses are working in tandem; you begin to experience synergy.
How do you know?
You feel thrilled, you laugh, you lose track of time, and you can seem to go on for hours without noticing.
Suddenly you have more than enough energy.
It is wonderful and anyone can do it.
Give yourself short bursts of time to try things out, and you may suddenly find yourself on a roll, with enthusiasm to keep going for the sheer joy of it.
Continue tomorrow-
As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.
February 4th
MORNINGS PROVIDE THE FEELING of freshness.
The air smells clean and feels like a new beginning.
The dew left on the ground glistens like a shiny new object.
Everything is renewed and fresh.
As you awaken, feel the renewal that sleep provided.
Be present with this feeling.
Nothing else matters in this moment.
Be here now, ready to take on the new day that has dawned.
Right now, is your chance to begin again.
Let go of all worries and regrets.
Today you have the gift of a fresh start.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
