DON’T EVER STOP DREAMING YOUR DREAM.

CONTINUING SERIES ON BELIEVING AND SERIES OF HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP OUR BODY CELLS HAPPY

Hello Followers,

Relax its Saturday! What did you dream about this week? We all have dreams. Maybe yours is to be the best at something in school or at work, at a sport or some other passion.

Or to make the trip somewhere in the world that you’ve been thinking about for years now. Or to improve your financial situation, social skills, find that special someone or to get into great shape.

Sometimes it’s hard to keep your dream alive. And at other times your dreams can remain just daydreams for far too long.

Dan and I dream for someday taking a trip to Europe. When Dan was in his 20’s he hitch-hiked throughout Europe and he wants to go back, although not going to hitch-hike this time.

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

– Ashley Smith

DON’T EVER STOP DREAMING YOUR DREAM

Don’t ever try to understand everything, some things will just never make sense.

Don’t ever be reluctant to show your feelings. When you’re happy, give in to it! When you’re not, live with it.

Don’t ever be afraid to try to make things better, you might be surprised at the results.

Don’t ever take the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Don’t ever feel threatened by the future, take life one day at a time.

Don’t ever feel guilty about the past, what’s done is done. Learn from any mistakes you might have made.

Don’t ever feel that you are alone, there is always somebody there for you to reach out to.

Don’t ever forget that you can achieve; so, many of the things you can imagine – imagine that! It’s not as hard as it seems.

Don’t ever stop loving, don’t ever stop believing and don’t ever stop dreaming your dreams. By Laine Parsons

Did you do your walking? I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and house hold chores!!! Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out.

They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

Have you been keeping your body cells happy! Each type of cell in the human body is specially equipped for its role. Cells of the digestive system, for instance, are vastly different in structure and function from cells of the skeletal system. Cells of the body depend on each other to keep the body functioning as a unit. There are hundreds of types of cells, but the following are the 11 most common.

This week I have already gone over eight of the most common cells; stem cells, bones cells, blood cells, muscle cells, fat cells, skin cells, nerve cells and endothelial cells. Today I will post on the ninth most common cell, which is sex cells.

Sex cells or gametes are reproductive cells created in male and female gonads that bring new life into existence. Male sex cells or sperm are motile and have long, tail-like projections called flagella. Female sex cells or ova are non-motile and relatively large in comparison to male gametes. In sexual reproduction, sex cells unite during fertilization to form a new individual.

While other body cells replicate by mitosis, gametes reproduce by meiosis.

DREAM BIG

When you’re spending time on your own, there’s no one to pull a disapproving face when you start a new project. So, if you’re determined to finish a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle or want to learn to ride a unicycle; just go for it. Its your life and you can choose how you spend it. Just make sure you follow through on your plans.

As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry 10-17-12; HERE WE ARE AT THE MEDICAL FACILITY IN MEXICO

BY DANIEL MALIN

Today we arrived at the facility, for I am going to start my cancer treatment. I will be having the same type of procedures Sherry received two years ago, we know this works, for she has managed this disease.

This was a long six-hour flight from Orlando to San Francisco, where we had a three-hour layover before we transferred to our plane to fly to San Diego. Nevertheless, we are exhausted from the running around and stress. While waiting, we ate at a sushi bar; I was surprised, for this is the first time I ever experienced that in an airport. The driver met us there and we are on our way to receive two weeks of treatments.

This was interesting to me; every time we cross the border, something random happens. This time we had to get out of the van and Sherry was told to press this button to see if it would turn green or red. If this turned red, they would have checked our bags, but it turned green so I guess that meant good luck.

After waiting a while, we finally arrived at facility. We felt as if we had never left the first time.

Everyone remembered who we were, but asked if Sherry was the patient. I said, “OH NO, it’s me this time. You did an awesome job on her so we figure it’s my turn now. HAHAHA.”

We were brought up to our room and greeted by different nurses who asked many questions, and then we ate a wonderful organic fish dinner. After a nurse came back in for my vitals, we were allowed to rest while enjoying hot tea. Until tomorrow night.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Today it’s Holy Basil – Ginger Syrup. This is added to the recipe from yesterday; HOLY BASIL- GINGER JULEP.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh holy basil leaves or 1 tablespoon dried holy basil

1 ½ teaspoons grated fresh ginger

½ cup honey

Instruction

1. Bring ½ cup water to a boil.

2. Combined the holy basil and ginger in a heatproof ceramic or glass container.

3. Pour boiling water over container and cover.

4. Steep for 15 minutes.

5. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, squeezing to extract all the liquid discard the solids.

6. Stir the honey into the warm liquid until dissolved.
