Encouraging people to live their own truth is a great gift.
Hello followers,
Happy Tuesday!
Tuesday is the second day of the week, and for many people, it marks almost halfway point to the weekend.
Whether you are looking for a little mid-week pick-me-up or simply want to start your day off on a positive note, reading inspirational sayings can be a great way to boost your mood and get into a good frame of mind.
Check out some of our inspirational mini videos to get you into a good frame of mind.
As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.
March 28th
SOMETIMES WE TAKE THE SIMPLEST things for granted.
Imagine if the sun never rose to offer its plentiful light every day.
Our bodies would be thrown off, plants would cease to grow, and the air would be quite cold.
Spread your arms wide and welcome the sun this morning.
Find a sunny patch to sit in and soak up its radiant light.
Say a prayer of thanks for the spectacular force that is the sun.
Yesterday Dan and I blogged on how important WORDS play in our everyday lives.
And how words can change your mood.
You can take any word and turn it into something related to your health.
Let us take the word KARMA for example.
This word is often used as a curse on those who have done something wrong.
It is also thought of as a way someone will receive payback for the good or bad, they have done.
Karma is not a punishment or reward system.
It is based on understanding.
If you do good things only in expectation of a reward, the reward will not show up.
If you do good things purely based on helping another, it will show up without fail.
Karma is not something that can be controlled, but it is something that always delivers.
Oh, and do not forget about coping with the Illusion of control.
Research has found that considering alternative explanations may help reduce the illusion of control when people are focused on positive outcomes.
However, one study found that the opposite is true when the situation involves avoiding a negative outcome.
When an action is followed by an undesirable outcome, reminding people of other factors that might influence that outcome can increase the illusion of control.
In the case of superstitious behavior, for example, telling people that bad luck is more likely caused by random chance and not by their own behavior, tends to increase their belief that they are personally responsible for any negative events that follow.
In most cases, however, thinking critically and scientifically is the best way to avoid being deceived by the illusion of control.
PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.
Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.
It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.
For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.
This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Wednesday, let your intuition be your guide,
but keep your mind alert to process what that sense is telling you.
