Enjoy the little things in life, for one day, you will look back and realize they were the big things.

Hello followers,

Thank goodness it is Friday!

Did you know that Fridays are the most anticipated days.

Fridays are fun for everyone because it means the work week is over and the weekend is about to start.

This signifies relaxation for some and partying for others.

However, people spend their weekends; Fridays are universally seen as the best days of the week.

Work seems to go faster as you look forward to staying up late, binging on your favorite shows, or dancing the night away with friends without worrying about having to wake up early the next day.

Hands up if you are ready to do something you’ll regret this weekend.

Go forth!

You have Dan and my blessing.

When you lack gratitude, you may find yourself thinking only of yourself.

Your actions may be more selfish.

You may isolate yourself from those you love and care about because you only see your needs.

This action makes you more self-serving and living for the ego’s fulfillment rather than feeling true selflessness and joy.

When you have others on your agenda, you are less alone and happier.

You have support, understanding, and compassion because you are also giving it.

What you give comes back to you, in some way.

And that is enough.

If you partake in more selfless behavior and see those around you for what they are worth, you will be more prone to giving a helping hand.

Then, you too will know that you are not alone.

You have more reasons to live for.

You have more people to share things with.

You have goals that may better serve the world.

With empathy, you can touch lives.

Your own life can be transformed by being kind and considerate of those around you.

But you cannot do all that if you don’t look at what you have.

You must lead with empathy, not with ego, and you will stop taking things for granted in your life.

Then, you can give joy and receive it too.

This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; HEARING

SILENCE FOR HEALING / SILENT CONTEMPLATION 2

Ten-minute exercise, take three deep breaths.

Then breathe normally.

RELAX.

Close your eyes if you wish.

In your mind’s eye, visualize a calm lake.

See the translucent beauty of the still water, unruffled, for there is no breeze, no sound, just complete tranquility.

The water may be deep blue, or softy silver, or pink with the glow of a sunset.

Let your imagination point this picture for you.

It may be a place you know or an image that you create.

Either is fine.

Rest with this image for ten-minutes.

Then stretch fingers and toes and let your awareness come back into the room.

Tomorrow, MUSIC FOR BODY AND SOUL

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

January 20th

THE SUN GLISTENS UP IN THE SKY as the marvel of the night dims away.

And yet, everything in the universe is still there, despite the veil of a blue sky and a bright sun.

The stars are still shining, and the moon continues its orbit.

Nothing stops.

This realization is amazing and allows for perspective when troubles seem too big.

If an entire universe can carry on when the sun rises, so can you.

Rise up.

Do your best to seize the day.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

Until Saturday, the saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions;

could have, might have, and should have. Do not be that person!
