CONTINUING THIS WEEKS POST ON, WHAT IS LIFE ABOUT AND WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE? AND WHY DO WE EXIST? PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Happy Monday,

It is the last Monday of September and third week of football season.

Yesterday as Dan and I was watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we were reminiscing of the games we attended.

Yes, Dan had season tickets and for many years, throughout our daughters growing up years, we would have tailgate parties on the fields near the stadium.

Those were the good old days, truly were.

GO BUCS!!

We have this Buccaneer flag, so every time they make a touchdown; we run throughout our apartment.

Like what they do on the field.

The only thing we are missing at home is the cannon going off.

Are you a football fan?

If you are, Dan and I would love to hear from you and who you cheer on.

It is time to begin as Dan and I have been blogging about our experiences with alternative treatments for cancer and the after care of keeping healthy; have taken it one step farther by adding a fundamental part of why we exist.

Last week we started to blog on the properties of life, characteristic traits.

Dan and I have posted on four characteristic traits: organization, metabolism, homeostasis, growth, reproduction, response, and evolution.

What do you think?

How would you define life?

Would you add something to the list of properties above, subtract something, or use an entirely different definition?

Can you think of exceptions or unusual cases that are not covered by the list?

If so, we would love to hear your ideas in the comments section below!

In combining our physical and mental functions, we can control our bodies and keep them healthy.

It took me a long time to realize this for myself.

Hopefully, this will help you, our followers.

Last week we posted on, self-empowerment, self-control, renewable vitality, emotion mastery and conscious communication along with smart focus, learning & adaptability, and constructive thinking.

Simple Ways to Find Out What Life is About-

There are many different behaviors, ideals, and actions that humans have found over the centuries that can be excellent methods to draw us towards that final, inner conclusion of why we exist.

There are a handful of ways to kickstart the adventure of finding out just what life is about.

Today Dan and I are starting on exploring them, the first one is Love People-

One of the best ways to find the meaning of life through love is to practice connecting with our families.

From parents and siblings to a spouse and children, loving our family is a powerful way to grow in our knowledge and appreciation of what life has to offer.

A spouse, children, friends, life partners, and strong platonic relationships provide a unique and powerful feeling that is difficult to find anywhere else.

Relationships can help you to build a sense of belonging and self-worth, give you an opportunity to share positive experiences, provide emotional support and allow you to support others.

Tomorrow, Detox from Technology and Gain Perspective-

SEPTEMBER – 26th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about September that is so significant during this month?

Love Note Day – September 26, 2022

Love Note Day is celebrated on September 26 every year and it is the one day where you get to channel your inner Victorian lover and send warm, heartfelt love notes to your partner!

It does not have to be National Boyfriend Day or Valentine’s Day to make someone you love to feel special.

It is a chance to convey your deepest emotions by writing down how much they mean to you and sending it to your lover in a scented envelope or an email.

If you are not usually the wordy romantic type, then take this day as an opportunity to be a little cheesy.

Even a plain, I love you can make your partner feel happy and loved.

Before the invention of email and social media, the oldest record of a love letter can be found mentioned in an ancient Native American text called the Bhagavata Purana around 5,000 years ago.

It was sent by princess Rukmini and given to a king named Krishna by her messenger.

In Ancient Egypt and Rome, the art of writing letters, both formal and informal (love) was a topic of great interest.

The love letter was taught as a skill until the start of the 18th century.

By the latter half of the 18th century, literature and writing had gone through a big shift due to the influence of the Romantics and the idea of teaching how to write love letters was questioned.

According to the Romantics, love letters should come from the heart.

There should be nothing artificial or made-up about its content.

In the first half of the 20th century, love letters continued to prosper because of the many wars that separated lovers.

Without the internet or mobile phones, the love letter was the only significant exchange and medium of communication between lovers when separated by distance.

By the second half of the 20th century, the internet and technology were born, and the medium of the love letter slowly started to get replaced.

By the 21st century, we already have email, social media applications, and mobile phones to communicate with our loved ones.

This means that the art of writing and receiving love letters has already started fading away.

Mail now means email, not a physical letter.

The spirit of writing love letters and receiving them is not dead yet.

Many writers and romantics around the world keep this tradition alive.

Although we are not quite sure who established Love Note Day, it seems to be an initiative to bring this forgotten medium back.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

HAPPINESS IS A PERFUME YOU CANNOT POUR ON OTHERS WITHOUT GETTING A FEW DROPS ON YOURSELF.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; TASTE-

TEN MINUTE FRUIT BOOSTS-

Are you for another fruit drink recipe?

ORANGE AND STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE

Oranges are a major source of vitamin C, and strawberries are full of beta-carotene and minerals like potassium.

Remember to wash them before use.

Into the blender put the freshly squeezed juice of a large orange and 4oz strawberries.

Add ½ pint milk and blend until smooth.

You can vary the fruits according to what is in season and what you enjoy!

Tomorrow, EATING PATTERNS AND STRESS-

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to find that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the separate ways through body, heart, and soul.

It is all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

It is important to know how it works!

Germs and Viruses????

The scientist who in the 19th Century made the greatest contribution to the science of microbiology was Antoine Bechamp (1816-1908).

Many of whose discoveries, all recorded in the annals of the French Academy of Science, have erroneously been credited to Louis Pasteur (1822-1895).

There was no love lost between the two French scientists, whose personalities were entirely different, and the record shows that although Pasteur plagiarized much of Bechamp's work, his popularity survived largely because of the favor he curried from Napoleon III and the High Church.

On the other hand, Bechamp was immersed entirely in his work, seeking neither favor nor fortune.

And although devout in his religious faith he was held in disfavor by the Bishops of the Church, who could not comprehend the unconventional way he expressed his faith.

Before Bechamp's time the theory of the cell being the basic unit of life was well established, but Bechamp's investigations showed that the cell itself was made up of smaller living entities capable of intelligent behavior and self-reproduction.

He referred to these as molecular granulations and gave them the name of microzymas, which he said were the basic units of life.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
