Faith gets help from the other four-truths, happiness, wisdom, and knowledge
Continuing the SERIES ON BELIEVING
Hello Followers,
Its, getting to be toward the end of this week, let’s all have a little bit of faith going into the week- end. When Dan and I go out into nature and walk our Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.
As a child I grew up Catholic and one of the Bible verses that stuck with me throughout the years and also helped me through cancer was Matthew 17:20 and Matthew 21:21
And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.
With this I apply it to my everyday life, alone with love, peace, acceptance, trust, beauty. All of those words are positive words, and unfortunately, they are also words that we do not hear often enough in today’s world.
So, today start by getting rid of all the negativity from your system and prepare for some great positivity this week-end. This song will start you out – one of Dan’s and my singer of all times.

KNOW HOW TO OVERCOME FAILURE
Failure, it’s only a word. But it carries with it so much pain. So little concern and so much frustration. So little respect and so much stress and so little understanding that people spend their lives running through their days. This in the hope of avoiding the long arm of this word.
To test your vision, you must risk failure.
To temper your ego, you must attempt the impossible.
To tell your story, you must take a chance.
To see beyond the horizon, you must spread your wings.
To be all you can be, you must stretch, flex, try and go beyond your proven limits.
To bridge the silence, you must risk rejection.
To advance into the unknown, you must risk all your previous beliefs and emotions that feel so secure.
Failure is not negative. It is a teacher. It molds, refines, and polishes you so that one day your light will shine for all to see.
It isn’t the failure you experience that will determine your destiny, but your next step and then the next that will tell the story of your life. By Tim Connor
In addition to the magic of love which moves the human heart, there is yet another magic which can remove mountains. That, of course, is faith. Lucky is he who has both, and this is especially true in age. By Cid Ricketts Sumner
Shifting from Thinking to Being (10 Minute Guided Meditation)
This 10-minute guided meditation will have you shifting from overthinking to just being.
Transitioning from the thinker, to the observer you’re allowing you to detach yourself from your thoughts, so you can just be. As you begin to let go of your thoughts you can allow yourself to become at peace with the moment, and enjoy the simple state of being.... Enjoy!
MEANINGFUL MEDITATION
You don’t have to spend hours in silence to enjoy the benefits of meditation. Commit to ten minutes each day if you can. Find a quiet space and try to calm the chattering in your brain.
Start by concentrating on your breathing. Take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Breathe from diaphragm, swelling your belly as you inhale. Some people find chanting a word can help. Acknowledge any thoughts that float into your head, thank them and send them away again. Wear loose clothes and sit in a comfortable position, resting your hands loosely in your lap.
Like training your muscles, meditation will become easier and you will be able to last longer the more you practice. Your mind is used to being busy, so it will take a while to learn how to calm it.
If you would like guidance, find an app to take you through meditation sessions and help you build them into your daily routine.
SIMPLE JOYS
Learn how to give yourself a full body scan. How does each part of your body feel? Scan mentally up from your toes to your head. Acknowledge any tension or heaviness. Focus on the rhythm of your breathing. If it helps to count, breathe in through your nose for a count of four, hold for five and then release through your mouth for a count of six.
BE A LONER THAT GIVES YOU TIME TO WONDER, TO SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH. HAVE HOLY CURIOSITY. MAKE YOUR LIFE WORTH LIVING. By Albert Einstein
I’m repeating this practice from yesterday of 8 Brocades Qigong. Dan and I enjoyed learning the routine and wanted to do it again today.
This is the qigong practice of the 8 Brocades. Regular practice is believed to improve organ function and overall wellbeing.
As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry from 5-14-11; SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH.
What is the truth? Is it what the media says? Or even what our doctors tell us? We learn from a young age to believe and listen to our parents about what and whom to trust. But did we listen to them. The answers to the questions above are for us to take heed to our hearts. Since I was diagnosed and researching, I found out the only person you can rely on is yourself. By doing this you will obtain the knowledge and be able to make up your own mind.
I have always taken into account people’s opinion, and did not take it that we are on the earth for only a short time. We need to take control of what is good and what is not. I am very passionate about keeping people informed by showing what is around us – this is why I am creating this journal, to show everyone there’s another way to take care of your health without harmful things.
We can do this for ourselves by not using manmade chemicals.
I am hoping this will open up your mind to ideas that you never thought of, and will change your ways. I know from where I sit, since modification I feel much better about myself.

1 Mile Happy Walk [Walk at Home 1 Mile]
Let’s Make this a HAPPY day with ONE HAPPY MILE!
This is the time to get ready for foods and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Yesterday I blogged about the herb cinnamon. So, today it’s time for a recipe! How about CINNAMON TOOTH POWDER!
Brushing your teeth with powdered herbs may sound strange. But this was common long before we had toothpaste. The powder will not foam, but it will make your teeth feel clean and smooth while supporting the health of your gums. Avoid getting drops of water into your powder, as adding moisture may shorten its shelf life.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon activated charcoal
1 teaspoon licorice root powder
Instructions:
1. Blend all the ingredients together and store in a small container with a lid.
2. For best results, discard whatever you don’t use within 6 months.
3. Then make another batch with fresh ingredients.
For use wet your toothbrush. Then using a small spoon, heap a small mound of powder onto the toothbrush. Lightly brush tour teeth as you would with a toothpaste.
Spring itself is Faith. In all its glory and color, the true nature of our being is being reborn. Faith roots in our souls and grows in our hearts. Faith is the very best of our hearts. Faith is the air we breathe. Faith is the lump in our throats and the tears we shed. Faith is the first rose that blooms. By Barbara Collie
