Faith is an oasis in the heart which will never be reached by the caravan of thinking.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON; FAITH AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

This week I will be focusing on the word FAITH.

I was brought up Catholic and as far back as I can remember, FAITH was part of my everyday life.

I always said that FAITH brought me to Dan.

It happened at the right time and place in our lives.

Living in faith and not by sight means that you are willing to go into the unknown.

It’s trusting God even though you don’t know where He’s leading you or what the outcome will be.

Dan and I have been living in faith over a specific situation for almost eleven years.

We have been praying over this situation fervently.

I don’t know how it’s going to turn out or where it’s going to lead.

All I do know is that God is working, and I’m waiting patiently to see the outcome.

It’s not easy and it’s not fun, but I know that He’s in control and that is where I find my peace.

I won’t keep you in the dark, its FAITH in our health.

Cancer is a frightening word and we are always researching, for through FAITH we continue to strive to keep healthy.

PINK, PINK, PINK

This month look around you and see all the products that are in pink.

This is supposed to represent Breast Cancer Awareness.

I suppose for some this helps them feel there is a purpose for the cause.

I just sit back as a breast cancer survivor and honor all that have passed from this disease.

I think we need to put our money into researching, how to manage this and its cause.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

For the past four years I have done a lot of research on other methods that treat cancer.

I take the color pink to another level, using it with my passion and love to direct it toward the cause.

A lot of the products that use the tool of pink this month are the causes.

If you do not believe me look up the ingredients of the products and you will see.

This world is big and other countries are using methods that are not accepted by the FDA.

For me, my insurance company stated that it was an experimental procedure and would not cover it.

Lesson learned; it worked and that is all that counts…

I am alive and had no surgery, chemo nor radiation.

We all have choices and it’s all right to buy pink, just remember that life is not about that ~it’s about knowledge.

So today, consider all the walks and events that you attend, and honor the ones that passed on from this disease, along with the concept of awareness.

If only my Aunts that left us with breast cancer tried the methods that I used.

I feel now I would be able to hug them today.

So, put your money like me into pink to understand the cause and not the cure.

Because it can be cured by knowing the cause. I am proof….

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

The right-handed brain is good at school because reading, writing and arithmetic are all logical, linear disciplines.

But the left-handed brain is better at playing hooky, drawing pictures and telling jokes.

It’s a fact!

Your sense of humor is in your left-handed brain.

It’s no accident that so many of the great comics are left-handed.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

FAITH

An honest, good intention with a poor method will lead either to frustration or to learning one way that didn’t work.

A bad intention with a good method will lead to deception.

Intention can be one way or the other, but method can be improved upon with the development of tact and the consideration of different perspectives.

MY JOURNEY OF COMPLETION (Body, Heart and Soul) – Enjoy Life While Managing Cancer

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

25 PICTURES - ENJOY SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CONTROLLING THE CONTROL CENTER

TO STOP NEGATIVE THOUGHTS, LIFT THE NEEDLE ON YOUR MENTAL RECORD PLAYER.

Physical exercise, positive thoughts and firm decisions that keep you from straddling the fence concerning your relationships ease emotional tension and actually produce a high.

Perhaps you have experienced such a high after commitment to a decision following a period of wavering and indecision.

You may feel these highs after determining your relationship direction.

You will be energized and feel a sense of well-being.

Maintaining that enthusiasm and spark after the initial burst of adrenaline depends on clear sighted realism that recognizes change is an inside decision that is affirmed by small gains, as well as major moves.

BEING PHYSICAL SICK CAN BE CAUSED BY BEING MENTALLY STRESSED.

Tomorrow’s blog will be on – Encourage Yourself and Others.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of TURMERIC. It’s amazing what and how turmeric can help keep your body healthy?

Turmeric/Curcumin is a natural anti-inflammatory compound.

Last week Dan and I have been pointing this out with other benefits.

Inflammation is incredibly important.

It helps fight foreign invaders and has a role in repairing damage in your body.

Although acute, short-term inflammation is beneficial, it can be a concern if it becomes chronic and attacks your body’s own tissues.

Scientists now believe that chronic low-level inflammation can play a role in some health conditions and diseases. These include: heart disease, cancer, metabolic syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, various degenerative conditions.

That’s why anything that can help fight chronic inflammation is potentially important in preventing and helping treat these conditions.

While the topic of inflammation is multilayered and there’s likely no simple answer, the key takeaway regarding curcumin is that it is a bioactive substance that can fight inflammation.

However, very high doses are required to produce medicinal results.

Chronic inflammation contributes to some common health conditions.

Curcumin can suppress many molecules known to play major roles in inflammation, but its bioavailability needs to be enhanced.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while

managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

Voted and walked today, in that order.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

NOTE: REPEATED FROM YESTERDAY – LETTING GO OF FEAR

Faith In the Storm Meditation

Welcome to this 12-minute guided meditation on having faith in the storm.

This meditation is about letting go of fear that might feel like it has you, but it doesn’t.

Faith inside these circumstances, whatever it is that you find yourself in, is what we need right now.

If you want to really have more faith and allow yourself to let go of fear, this is the meditation for you.

To get the most out of this guided meditation on having more faith, we recommend that you find a quiet place where you can sit or lie down undisturbed for the next 12 minutes.

Place a sign on the door if necessary to let others know that you will be letting go of fear to avoid any unexpected interruptions.

Also, we suggest that you use headphones for optimal listening experience.

During this experience, Heather Hayward will guide you through some simple meditation techniques for having faith.

All you need to do is be physically comfortable and able to listen to the sound of her voice.

If you are lying down, placing a blanket across your stomach area can provide some added comfort and relief while using this guided meditation to have faith.

We hope you find the faith you are looking for during this guided meditation and look forward to creating more experiences for you soon.

Wishing you always more comfort, humor and inspiration.

Heather Hayward
