Hello Followers,
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
It’s time to celebrate all those women who’ve touched your life in the ways that only mothers can.
Mother’s Day isn’t only for your mom; it’s a time to acknowledge all the aunts, grandmas, cousins, sisters, wives, and partners who have spread joy by being fantastic mothers.
As a mother, I always wondered where and what was the origin and meaning of Mother’s Day.
Are you ready!
Bear with us fathers for your day is next month.
The story goes a little something like this.
Although it can be traced all the way back to ancient Greeks and Romans and was once even a part of Lent in parts of the United Kingdom and Europe.
Thanks to the Christian festival known as, Mothering Sunday.
The day actually became huge in the United States in 1908.
That’s because of a woman named Anna Jarvis.
Six years later, Mother’s Day became an official holiday.
What’s really interesting about all of this is that, years later, the same woman who came up with the holiday actually tried to get it removed from the calendar.
Why?
Well, according to her; it had become far too commercialized
It’s pretty safe to assume that most mothers across the globe are mighty grateful that Mother’s Day remains intact.
I am!
When you stop to think about all of the love, time and devotion mothers give to their children and mother figures given to those around them, one day of appreciation isn’t even close to being enough!
I will agree with Ms. Jarvis about one thing.
Sometimes, so much focus is put on what we think we want to do for our moms, that we don’t actually take the time to consider what she would like to do or not do.
Perhaps moments like; letting her sleep in, spending some quality time with her, making her favorite meal, asking her what she would like would be the precious gift of all.
Life doesn't come with a manual. It comes with a mother.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

There is no limit to what you can do, when you focus on your strength.
Nothing is so strong as gentleness, and nothing is so gentle as true strength.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.
You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.
Your strengths are like a force of nature. Free up and focus the forces that are already there.
Courage is like a muscle. We strengthen it by use.
If you focus on strength, everything else you want will become a byproduct of this focus.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
GUARD WELL WITHIN YOURSELF THAT TREASURE, KINDNESS. KNOW HOW TO GIVE WITHOUT HESITATION, HOW TO LOSE WITHOUT REGRET, HOW TO ACQUIRE WITHOUT MEANNESS.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS
TOUCH WITH WORDS-
Often the best way to respond to someone difficult is with a caress.
A baby communicates with garbled language and yet they understand.
Even their hands talk.
If they stretch out their hand, the baby is asking for something.
If they reach up gently and caresses your face between their hands, their saying, I love you.
Isn’t touching with words what you want?
You want the person with whom you are having difficulty communicating to hear you, even if they can’t accept your words.
You want the caring to show through, even if the goals and agendas are divergent.
Your demeanor is crucial to communication.
Tomorrow, DEVELOP A DUCK’S BACK ATTITUDE-
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
Today blogging on the herb; COFFEE and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how coffee can help keep your body healthy?
COFFEE supports heart health!
Some research shows that drinking coffee may benefit heart health.
In fact, one review found that drinking three to five cups of coffee per day was tied to a 15% reduced risk of heart disease.
Another review of 21 studies showed that drinking three to four cups of coffee daily was associated with a 21% lower risk of stroke.
What’s more, one study in more than 21,000 people also found that increased coffee intake was associated with a significantly decreased risk of heart failure.
However, keep in mind that caffeine could affect blood pressure levels.
Therefore, people with unmanaged blood pressure may need to limit or moderate their caffeine intake.
Some research shows that drinking coffee could be linked to a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, and heart failure.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
