Hello Followers,

Happy Weekend!

FORGIVE YOURSELF
FORGIVE YOURSELF

Forgive yourself for what you think you have done or not done.

At every moment, you had your reasons for all your actions and decisions.

You have always done the best that you could do.

Forgive yourself.

Dan and I are going to dive into potential drawbacks of forgiving yourself today.

While self-forgiveness is generally thought of as a positive action that can help restore the sense of self, there is also research indicating that it can sometimes have a damaging effect.

The major risk of self-forgiveness is that it can sometimes reduce empathy for those who have been hurt by your actions.

Although self-forgiveness often relieves feelings of guilt, there are times this inward focus may make it more difficult to identify with others.

You can avoid this by consciously practicing empathy with those who have been affected by your actions.

This ends the series of self-forgiveness.

Dan and I hope you have learned to forgive yourself and moved on.

Until Sunday, I have learned that the person I must ask for forgiveness from the most is: myself. You must love yourself. You must forgive yourself, every day, whenever you remember a shortcoming, a flaw, you must tell yourself “That’s just fine.” You must forgive yourself so much, until you do not even see those things anymore. Because that is what love is like.
