Hello Followers,
Welcome to Sunday!

Dan and I have been soul searching for many years on ways of keeping healthy.
And it led us to discover that at least 95 percent of the time it is our mindset and how we view ourselves.
This year we have dedicated our blog to this, in January we started a series on REGRET, and it ended into a series in February of FORGIVINESS AND SELF-FORGIVINESS.
This year Dan and I have also added an area for homemade healthy foods and homemade healthy products.
We welcome you, if not already check them out.
Now, today we are going to start a new series that is not talked about a lot but is very important for us to stay healthy and that is the science of happiness.
What makes people happy?
What makes you happy?
Finding satisfaction and contentment is a continual process.
Psychologists have now identified many of the tenets that help individuals on that journey.
Happiness includes curiosity, and the ability to tolerate risk and anxiety to discover new passions and aspects of identity.
It involves a balance between brief pleasure and longer-term striving toward goals.
It is encouraged by friends and family who can both celebrate accomplishments and provide support after failures.
Happiness includes the ability to acknowledge and embrace every emotion, even the unpleasant ones.
It involves seeing the big picture, rather than getting stuck in the details.
Overall, being happy is to live with mindfulness, meaning, and purpose.
Tomorrow, we will explore more about the science of happiness.
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.

RECAPPING THE WEEK.
Forgiving yourself, not guilt, increases personal accountability.
Just as white light consists of colored rays, so reverence for life contains all the components of ethics: love, kindness, sympathy, empathy, peacefulness, and power to forgive.
No one can or will ever feel your pain as much as you.
Forgive yourself for the past, seize the gift of the present moment.
Love yourself, accept yourself, forgive yourself and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.
Forgive yourself first.
Let go of past hurts and direct your spirit to goodness and hope by having gratitude.
Feeling compassion for us in no way releases us from responsibility for our actions. Rather, it releases us from self-hatred that prevents us from responding
to our life with clarity and balance.
I have learned that the person I must ask for forgiveness from the most is: myself. You must love yourself. You must forgive yourself, every day, whenever you remember a shortcoming, a flaw, you must tell yourself “That’s just fine.” You must forgive yourself so much, until you do not even see those things anymore. Because that is what love is like.

Happiness and inner peace come from within, it is not something you can find externally, but rather something you cultivate from within.
Take some time to reflect on your values, beliefs, and goals.
Identify what brings you joy and fulfillment and be available for those things in your life.
Remember to be kind to yourself along the way, and do not put too much pressure on yourself to achieve perfection.
Progress, not perfection, is what leads to a more peaceful and happy life.
We wish you all the best on your journey towards inner peace and happiness.
Until Monday, happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.
