Hello Followers,

Yay, join Dan and me in welcoming everyone a great week ahead.

As we approach today, remember to let go of the stress of perfection.

Connect with people either at work or in a shopping plaza.

In Dan and my case, it will be at the Salem Senior Citizen Center.

Tomorrow is the day we go play Mexican Train and practice Tia Chi.

Take time out to sit on a bench outside of work or in a park and watch people go by.

Do not read, talk, or catch up on social media.

Just people watch.

Feel connected to everyone and watch them with an open mind and compassion.

Dan and I have done this in the past.

It opens your mind!

The more we notice things to appreciate, the more they seem to grow.

THE WORD OF THE DAY- WAITING

Waiting is a universal experience that we all encounter at some point in our lives.

During the waiting period, we often experience a range of emotions, from anxiety and impatience to excitement and anticipation.

These emotions can be both positive and negative, depending on the situation.

For example, waiting for a lab result can be nerve-wracking, but waiting for a vacation to start can be exciting.

Waiting can be challenging, especially in today’s fast-paced world where we are often encouraged to pursue quick results and instant success.

It can be tempting to act impulsively or rush into a decision, especially when we are under pressure.

However, taking the time to wait and evaluate our options can lead to better outcomes in the long run.

Waiting is a means of acquiring patience.

THE FLOWERS ARE WAITING

In autumn hardy bulbs are set out in the softy soil to wait, patiently through the freeze.

They endure the cold, the snowfall, and the heaving ground to be the first ones in line to greet, the sun and the spring.

The moment the world is warm enough, they erupt in bloom, flying colorful flags of enthusiasm.

Their patience is rewarded by our appreciation and excitement.

The first flowers of spring are joy incarnate, a splash of color in the cold ground not yet thawed.
