Welcome to Tuesday!
Why should we build our happiness on the opinions of others, when we can find it in our own hearts?

Do not look for happiness outside yourself.
The awakened seek happiness inside.
Today Dan and I will explore suggestions for how to achieve happiness in one’s everyday life.
The first suggestion is to act.
The essence of greatness is the ability to choose personal fulfillment in circumstances where others choose madness. —Dr. Wayne Dyer
Do you know those people who just like to complain?
The ones who always seem to have something to nag about and who, when you try to give them a solution, say, "Yeah, but…" and then continue to moan some more?
It is almost like they enjoy being miserable and find it necessary to explain the negative circumstances of their life without doing anything about it.
Many people tend to go through life that way.
They see themselves as victims and aimlessly float through life, not taking responsibility for their choices or participation in creating their undesirable circumstances.
They ignore the positive and look at the negative.
If you want to ultimately achieve happiness, you need to be both responsible and committed to yourself.
You need thirst for life and a desire to participate in it.
You must be willing to acknowledge what is going right, not only paying attention to what is going wrong.
Happiness is not a one-time destination; it is a life-long vow to your own health, well-being, and pleasure.
Basically, instead of just complaining about all those things you want to change, do something about it or change the way you perceive the situation, which is really another way of doing something about it.
Continue tomorrow another suggestion, know that you are in charge of yourself.

This meditation is a guide to finding happiness by understanding how living in the present moment can bring us deep and lasting contentment.
This practice can reduce stress, calm anxiety, and improve sleep.
If we open ourselves to being available for each passing moment and maximizing contentment in what we call the here and now, we also open ourselves to the acceptance of happiness and lasting joy.
The guided portion of the meditation is about 14 minutes and then continues with calming ambient music for a total of 20 minutes.
Until Wednesday, A flower blossoms for its own joy.
