Hello Followers,

It is Monday and the last one this February!

It is a great day to start developing a daily mindfulness practice if you do not already do.

Developing a daily mindfulness practice takes patience and determination.

Stick with it!

It can be hard work to keep pulling your mind back to the present moment.

There will be challenges and obstacles to overcome, not least the fact that the benefits of mindfulness may be times when you want to throw in the towel but be determined.

If you persevere, you will learn from obstacles and overcome them.

Your ability will improve, and the benefits will start to become more obvious.

You will start to feel more present, peaceful, and alive.

Whenever you feel your patience wavering, remind yourself that mindfulness works like a muscle, the more you exercise it the stronger it gets.

It is the power of the MIND.

THE WORD OF THE DAY- BREATH

For the most part, breathing is involuntary.

But taking a few moments throughout the day to practice mindful breathing can change your health, your perspective, and even the choices you make.

It reduces cortisol and bodily tension.

It enhances circulation and digestion.

It improves balance.

Self-awareness.

It improves mental clarity and focus.

It activates the lymphatic system to purge toxins and reduce anxiety.

It facilitates calm, mindful enjoyment of the present.

When the breath is unsteady, all is unsteady; when the breath is still; all is still.

Control your breath carefully.

Inhalation gives strength and a controlled body; retention gives steadiness of mind and longevity; exhalation purifies body and spirit.

The trick to life is to just keep breathing.

BREATH IS A CONSTANT THING

Our breath is a constant thing, with us whether we pay it any mind or more often, forget about breathing entirely.

It does not require our constant attention, but flows from moment to moment, keeping us afloat.

And it is always there for us, giving us a path through the moment.

In and out, any moment, any feeling, any event, your breath finds a way.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

This five-minute guided meditation with a focus on deep breathing holds a myriad of advantages for both mental and physical well-being.

Firstly, it serves as a quick and accessible tool for stress reduction, helping to alleviate tension and promote a sense of calm during a busy day.

The intentional emphasis on deep breathing fosters improved oxygen circulation, aiding in relaxation and lowering cortisol levels.

This short practice is an effective way to enhance mindfulness, sharpening focus, and clarity of thought.

Regular sessions can contribute to better emotional regulation, reducing anxiety and promoting a more balanced state of mind.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Dan and I welcome you to go to the tag words and explore our posts.

Until Tuesday, to meditate with mindful breathing is to bring body and

mind back to the present moment so that you do not miss your appointment with life.
