Hello Followers,
Welcome Tuesday!
It is tough to forgive ourselves.
So, it is probably best to start with other people.
It is almost like peeling an onion. Layer by layer, forgiving others, you really do get to the point where you can forgive yourself.
Self-Forgiveness means moving on.
Much like when we forgive others, self-forgiveness involves pardon from our wrongdoings.
Most of the time, the process takes time, as most depressed people and those who have low self-esteem tend to experience great self-hate.
Always remember that there will always be a time when our values do not align with our actions, and that as humans we make mistakes.
Try our best to avoid the same situation, realize that things might not go well all the time, and improve ourselves using past events.
Everyone makes mistakes, but learning how to learn from these errors, let go, move on, and forgive yourself is important for mental health and well-being.
So, we are going to discover together why self-forgiveness can be beneficial in the next topic.
Tomorrow Dan and I will explore some steps that may help you learn how to forgive yourself.
