Hello Followers,

Thank goodness for Friday!

There is this saying that I cannot get out of my head this morning; whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.

Being mindful is not difficult to do.

It is remembering, which is the key!

Dan and I place inspiring pictures and notes around our home to remind us to be mindful.

I keep our Christmas tree/Mindful tree up and have on it inspirational items that our grandchildren made for us, along with treasures we had picked up throughout our past trips.

These visual triggers are all we need to remember the past.

This gives us gratitude which helps us to snap back to the present moment.

THE WORD OF THE DAY- LISTEN

Listening is defined as to give attention with the ear; attend closely for the purpose of hearing; give an ear.

To communicate effectively you must first know how to listen.

Understanding the other party allows us to build better relationships, for when the mind is silent the heart will listen.

It is okay to let your opinions be heard, but when we listen, we take in information, and as such, we take one step to success.

LISTEN FOR WHAT YOUI HEAR IN SILENCE

You might not be able to hear it at this moment, but the world is still busy.

It is right on schedule, and so are you.

Each of us has a quiet period or many quiet periods if we are lucky.

The world is doing exactly what it should be doing in its silence, and so are you.

If you cannot hear what you are supposed to be doing, it is exactly this in this moment in this quiet.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

This mindful listening meditation guides you in using the power of mindfulness to tune into your breath and the sounds around you.

Listen mindfully for a calm mind.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Dan and I welcome you to go to the tag words and explore our posts.

Until Saturday, there is a lot of difference between listening and hearing.
