Feelings come and go like clouds. Conscious breathing is my anchor.

Hello Followers,

Are we ready for Tuesday?

Some of you may feel a little tense.

Stop, inhale, exhale, and breathe.

When the breath is unsteady, all is unsteady; when the breath is still; all is still.

Control your breath carefully.

Inhalation gives strength and a controlled body; retention gives steadiness of mind and longevity; exhalation purifies body and spirit.

With so many benefits, mindful breathing should be one of your top wellness priorities.

Just remember, the benefits:

Reduces cortisol and bodily tension.

Enhances circulation and digestion.

Improves balance and self-awareness.

Improves mental clarity and focus.

Activates the lymphatic system to purge toxins and reduce anxiety.

Facilitates calm, mindful enjoyment of the present.

For the most part, breathing is involuntary.

But taking a few moments throughout the day to practice mindful breathing can change your health, your perspective, and even the choices you make.

So, Dan and I welcome you to go to our YouTube site to enjoy and bring uplifting vibes to your day.

These uplifting videos hold a significant place in our lives.

They offer a glimpse into the wisdom of our experiences.

Did you know that extending your exhales so that they are a little longer than your inhales can help you relax?

Try it and let us know how it goes for you.

The breath bubble above was designed with the following counts in mind:

Inhale for 3 counts

Rest for 2 counts

Exhale for 5 counts

Rest for 2 counts

Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

WHEN THINGS SEEM TO BE falling apart and nothing is going as planned, breathe

In times like these, all you have control over is your reaction and your breath.

Focused breathing relieves tension and makes you aware of where your body is holding tension.

Send breath to those parts of your body and feel yourself release the tension that can surface when you acknowledge your lack of control.

Letting go of the way you would like things to go and sinking into the flow will invite peace and acceptance.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

This 10-minute guided meditation will bring you into a peaceful state with just you and your breath.

Within just a few moments, focusing on your breathing can heighten your mindfulness and clarity of the mind.

Enjoy!

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Wednesday, breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile.

Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is the only moment.
