RECAPPING ON SERIES OF, REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – DANDELION.

Hello Followers,

You’ve likely hit tons of milestones in our lives.

Taking time to celebrate your achievements, regardless of whether they’re large or small, can help you reflect on what you’ve accomplished and look ahead toward your next goal.

Today we are going to explore the 6th experience that we all experience and that is, dealing with the death of a pet.

Again, some milestones are not pleasant.

They teach us lessons!

Many children first experience the pain of loss when a beloved pet passes away.

The tragedy can be so heart-wrenching that some parents cover it up by saying the animal ran away.

And whether it’s a goldfish, a rabbit, or the family dog, losing a pet for the first time is likely something you’ll remember forever.

It’s the 12th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?

National Red Rose Day – June 12, 2022

This day is to pay tribute to one of the most iconic symbols of love and romance throughout history, the red rose.

Incidentally, the rose is also the birth flower for June.

June is a popular month for weddings.

While roses all over the nation begin to bloom; National Red Rose Day is a time for lovers, botanists, florists, and basically, anyone else, to get together to pay tribute to this classical flower.

It has stood the test of time and will probably do so for years to come.

The best part is that there’s something for everyone.

Whether you’re a nature lover, just stopping to smell the roses and marvel at their beauty; or if you’re a hopeless romantic who likes to make gestures.

The red rose is as versatile as can be, to suit your interpretation of it.

Also, did you know that in three different languages, Spanish, Portuguese, and French the word rose means red?

How’s that for serendipity!

National Peanut Butter Cookie Day – June 12, 2022

Cookie lovers and peanut butter lovers unite to celebrate National Peanut Butter Cookie Day on June 12!

The key ingredients of peanut butter cookies are peanut butter, sugar, and eggs and in their simplest form; that’s all that you’ll need.

Peanut butter cookies are incredibly easy to make.

If you’re a peanut butter lover, they always hit the spot.

Researchers don’t know for sure when peanuts were first harvested, but evidence dating back 3,500 years ago indicates that ancient Incans of Peru used peanuts as sacrificial offerings.

The peanut likely originated somewhere around modern-day Peru or Brazil and potentially growing as far north as Mexico, and was spread by European explorers.

These Europeans likely brought peanuts to Africa and Asia.

It was eventually Africans who brought peanuts to North America in the 1700s.

Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead.

One of the most important milestones we’ll all hit along the way is the moment when we finally own our unique point of view and realize how priceless it is.

Your path has not been determined. You shall have more experiences and pass many more milestones.

People throw stones at you and you convert them into milestones.

Sometimes milestones are not measured by the accomplishments of society, but by those of integrity.

It's when ordinary people rise above the expectations and seize the opportunity that milestones truly are reached.

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

NOW IS THE ONLY TIME WE HAVE, AND THE ONLY TIME WE HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Chapter 16; IS DIFFERENT SCREWED UP?

Starting today; REALITY CHECK FOUR – PEOPLE NEED TO BE TRUE TO THEMSELVES.

People are not always acting off-the-wall when we think they are; they are simply being true to themselves.

Healthy people are the ones who express themselves without fear, even as they are respectful of the right of others.

They seek to get along but, in the process, they stand up for what they believe and do not allow themselves to be run over or crushed.

Until tomorrow-

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?

Yes, I said – ashwagandha!

One obtains longevity, regains youth, gets a sharp memory and intellect and freedom from diseases gets a lustrous complexion and strength of a horse. By Charka, Ayurvedic Scholar; 100 B.C.E.

Ashwagandha has long been a revered medicinal plant in India and Africa and in recent years it has enamored Western herbalists with its ability to both strengthen those who are tired and calm those who are stressed and anxious.

More tomorrow-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
