Gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency, and you will attract much better things.

THIS WEEK CONTINUING THE SERIES; GRATITUDE AND HOW IT CHANGES OUR BRAIN TO BE HAPPIER. PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY. ALSO, CANCER: CIVILIZATION’S -NO. 2 KILLER?????

Hello followers,

It’s Monday!

It will soon be Thanksgiving.

You know when Thanksgiving arrives when someone says, "Let's go around the table and say what we're grateful for," and your mind just draws a total blank?

You probably have tons of reasons to give thanks, your family, your friends/chosen family, your pets, your health; but suddenly, you're tongue-tied.

You wouldn't be the first, how many mega-famous people forget to thank at least one important person in their Oscars speech?

One way to prevent this painfully awkward moment?

Practice gratitude on the reg, so you're ready when it's time to share your thanks before stuffing yourself with stuffing.

And get this: Your body and brain will thank you for doing so.

Expressing gratitude is linked to positive social, psychological, and health states, such as increased likelihood of helping others and optimism, and better quality of sleep, more exercise, and fewer symptoms of physical illness, according to a 2017 article in the National Communication Association's Review of Communication.

Plus, multiple studies show that expressing and experiencing gratitude increases life satisfaction, vitality, and hope, and decreases levels of depression, anxiety, envy, and job-related stress and burnout, the article authors found.

With all these positive effects, of course you want to show as much gratitude as possible.

But, like most things in life, it's easier than done.

Continuing, GRATITUDE AND HOW IT CHANGES OUR BRAIN TO BE HAPPIER.

So, how does gratitude impact the mind and body?

2 – Even if you keep it to yourself, gratitude still helps

The professors told the participants in the study that they didn’t have to send their letters to the intended recipients.

Only 23% of the participants ended up sending them, but everyone in the group reported having better mental health.

This shows that just the act of writing out the letter boosted the mental health of the participants, even if they didn’t intend to send the message.

This shows that you can still feel gratitude even if you don’t communicate it to another person.

You might not send the letter. Just writing out your blessings can help shift your focus away from negative thinking and refresh your mind.

However, hearing the other person’s reaction when they read the letter can help both you and the recipient’s mental health, so if you want to try this out yourself, we encourage you to send the letter.

NOVEMBER 14th, Dan, and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about November that is so significant during this month?

Loosen Up Lighten Up Day – November 14, 2022

If you have been looking for a break from all your stress and troubles, Loosen Up Lighten Up (LULU) Day on November 14 is perfect for you.

This day presents an opportunity for you to take a break from your usual busy schedule and all the stressful thoughts and instead focus on just being happy and relaxed, and having fun. LULU Day is our cure for burnouts and breakdowns.

Everyone needs a day to slack off and Loosen Up Lighten Up Day is just the day for it.

LULU Day was created by Stephanie West Allen, giving us a day to lock up our serious side and be happily carefree.

Loosening up is known to help us control our anger and keep a smile on our face despite whatever happens during a stressful day.

Stress is a hormonal response to physical, mental, or emotional strain on our body.

As human beings, we are prone to stress due to our activities and responsibilities.

These stress factors can trigger anxiety, depression, anger, or health issues such as high blood pressure, heart failure, and a weakened immune system.

So, not only is LULU Day fun, but it is also therapeutic and a medication-free way of dealing with Mr. Stress and his health-issue friends.

While stress cannot be avoided, it can be reduced.

Many relaxing methods have been employed to relieve stress and lighten up a person’s mood.

Meditation, for one, dates to 5000 years ago but was popularized around the world in the 20th century.

This activity is known to reduce the heart rate and has several health benefits associated with it!

Taking up a recreation activity or hobby is also a great way to lighten up.

These activities keep our minds focused, without having to think about stressful matters.

Exercise and sports activities are also stress-relieving methods.

LULU Day is best enjoyed with family members and friends, with ground rules: No serious matters, no stressful activities, and no worries!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT WE DO WITH THE LIFE WE HAVE.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; SMELL

SMELL; TIME CYCLES AND RHYTHMS-

Essential oils can be used to assist this process very effectively, positive responses to smells like lavender or rosewood can be extremely effective at relaxing you into sleep.

Children also respond very well to aromas in their environment; fruity aromas like sweet orange are comfortingly familiar.

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to find that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the separate ways through body, heart, and soul.

It is all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

It is important to know how it works!

Cancer: Civilization's - No. 2 Killer

Continuing today on Important--Note Well,

Hormone imbalance may also enter the picture; breast cancer is often associated with high levels of estrogen, the female growth hormone, and it should be noted that overproduction of estrogen is caused by high levels of fat in the diet.

As Nathan Pritikin explained, it is the abnormal production of estrogen due to fat in the Western diet that accounts for the premature sexual development and bigger breasts of today's young girls.

CONTINUE TOMORROW-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
