Hello Followers,
HAPPY SATURDAY,
Live in the present and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.
Whatever you love, do it now.
Time is not on your side.
The beginning is always now.
You can dance in the storm.
Don't wait for the rain to be over before because it might take too long.
You can do it now!
Wherever you are, right now, you can start, right now; this very moment.
101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.
Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.
That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.
CHAPTER 1; HAPPILY, YOURSELF
LIVE YOUR VALUES
In tough times, it may seem harder to live by your values.
For example, money worries may chip away at generosity.
However, transgressing against what you believe in will undermine your self-worth.
Know where your red lines are!
Talking about your values helps you to clarify them and going public puts pressure on you to stay true to them.
When temptation strikes, ponder the long-term consequences of giving way; keep yourself morally intact.
THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING
Touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound can improve your well-being in all sorts of surprising ways.
Let’s talk about SOUND and how it effects our health.
Sound plays an important role in overall health.
Oxford’s Charles Spence is also considering ways to use hearing to people’s advantage.
He’s specifically interested in building on the well-established finding that music assists in healing, largely because music reduces stress and anxiety.
Spence speculates that the soothing powers of music are heightened if music is specifically curated to address different types of illness, such as one playlist for someone recovering from heart surgery and another for a person receiving chemotherapy.
Research has demonstrated that physical-therapy patients do better when certain sounds are played at specific points during the therapy.
“Playing a nice, harmonious sound in synchrony with patients flexing their backs leads to much better flexibility than when the sound of a creaking door is played,” he says.
Ravi Mehta, a PhD consumer psychology researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, has found that sound doesn’t have to be harmonious to bring benefits.
Studies have shown the impact of noise can vary with the type of noise, the volume of the noise, and the type of thinking.
To tease some of the effects apart, Mehta and colleagues exposed people in a study to different types of noisy soundtracks while asking them to perform various tasks.
The results suggested that when people need to be creative, just the right amount of noise can win the day.
The brain easily filters out a bit of noise, and becomes impaired by a lot of it, but is most productive when there’s a medium amount.
“If you need to think more broadly, then noise helps,” he says.
The reason it works, Mehta speculates, is that the noise may “defocus” the brain, forcing it out of whatever rut it may be in and freeing it up to explore new avenues of thought.
Mehta now wants to pin down specific aspects of the noise, such as tempo and pitch, that might fine-tune the benefits.
For now, he recommends working in coffee shops, but he also offers a warning.
“Noise can make things worse if you need to focus in on routine details,” he says.
“A coffee shop is probably not a good place to do your taxes.”
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.
WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?
DID YOU KNOW!
Lefty, if you share a computer with a right-hander and want to keep changing over the mouse button; there is a simple shareware utility called SwapMouseButtons.
This allows you to set the F12 key as a hotkey to change from right to left and back with a single keystroke.
It also automatically changes the mouse pointer and hand curser to left-handed versions when you swap buttons.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
THROUGH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
WITH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."
So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.
Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 9 – LET THE PAST GO
Today, ACCEPT YOUR REALITY
It is important that you detach immediately from an abusive relationship.
Some of you have tried to hold too tightly or have nagged too much.
Now is the time to change!
This is your new beginning.
You can break free of the cocoon that has trapped you in unhealthy behaviors or reactions.
Perhaps through your freedom, others will be freed.
Continue tomorrow-
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ELDER. It’s amazing what and how elder can help keep your body healthy?
Elderberries controls diabetes.
A few active antioxidant ingredients found in elderberries work on your pancreas and help regulate glucose levels and insulin, providing more stability for individuals who have diabetes and assisting non-diabetics to avert the terrible condition.
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Two hour drive to Charlottesville for doctor's visit.
But nevertheless, we made it a day; picnic and walk in the park before the appointment.
Winter is coming.
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

DESIGN FOR PRESENT
Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present. #happiness#not#something#postpone#future#design#present#presentmoment#inspirational #motivational
Until Sunday, infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
