HAPPY EASTER - The great gift of Easter is hope.

SPECIAL EDITION

Hello followers,

Spring is in the air, which means Easter is here.

Today is a religious holiday that includes a bunch of Easter traditions the whole family can enjoy, like getting in on fun Easter egg hunts and opening Easter baskets filled with delicious candy.

And for many, the holiday welcomes a season of great faith, renewed inspiration, and joyous optimism.

So how do you express your gratitude during this uplifting time of year?

MUSIC FROM YESTERYEARS

So, let us start with the word – OPTIMISM.

As a child Easter was the holiest day in the Christian calendar.

It observes the most central tenet of the Christian faith, that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead.

The resurrection represents the triumph of good over evil, sin, death, and the physical body.

As for today’s world we need the optimism of this very same triumph of good over evil.

Optimists expect good things to happen, whereas pessimists instead predict unfavorable outcomes.

Optimistic attitudes are linked to several benefits, including better coping skills, lower stress levels, better physical health, and higher persistence when pursuing goals.

If you always see the brighter side of things, you may experience more positive events in your life than others, find yourself less stressed, and even enjoy more significant health benefits.

This we need more to send out into our universe.

Research suggests that genetics determines about 25% of your optimism levels and environmental variables out of your control.

Such as your socioeconomic status also plays an important role.

But this does not mean that you cannot actively improve your attitude.

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

APRIL 9th

WHEN A BABY IS BORN, development takes time.

It is an amazing and intricate process to go from infancy to adulthood.

Growth takes time.

The same is true for our intentions.

Look back three months and recall what your intentions were.

Acknowledge where you are now.

If you believe growth is not happening, ask yourself what you can do differently to encourage growth.

Bless the process and know that even with minor strides, growth is taking place.

RECAP OF THE WEEK

With a few chosen words, we have the power to either make someone’s day or ruin it.

Few of us have tons of free time. When we believe something is important, we make time for it.

Desperate times do not require desperate measures, they require stronger faith.

The freedom to be yourself is a gift only you can give yourself. But once you do, no one can take it away.

Happiness is really nothing more than freedom.

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.

Talk to yourself like you would, to someone you love.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Monday, HAPPY EASTER - Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal and new life.
