I am allowed to feel good and to experience pleasure in life.

Hello followers,

Wow, it is Friday, and it is the start of Memorial Day Weekend!

That means in United States it is a three-day weekend for most.

And as Dan and I dive into this weekend, we also take into powerful affirmations.

We have worked these into our life schedule, for it is one of our lifestyle changes to a healthier body.

These daily affirmations are short, written statements that are meant to give our self-esteem a positive boost.

People often use affirmation during times in life where they are dealing with difficult circumstances or when they are experiencing more negative self-talk than usual.

However, Dan and I do it each day.

Most of the time, self-affirmation is something that you write on your own, in response to whatever is going on in your life or whatever emotional challenge you are experiencing.

But sometimes it can be helpful to consult a list of positive affirmations written by others for inspiration.

Try it, you might enjoy the benefits!

Check out some of our experiences on the page How Safe Is Mexico -

In capturing Mexico, I realized that all the warnings from the USA to go to Mexico was not true.

Mexico, just like the United States has different climates and as well crime in different places.

So, when they stated that Mexico was unsafe, that was not all true.

We live in a world that has good and evil; you just must know what areas are good.

Just like when we decided to move back to the states, Virginia; Roanoke area suited our needs and is right at the entrance of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The past three years, I have been posting areas that Dan and I have visited and thought how many of us know just what took place back during the Civil War.

Dan and I have decided to dedicate the rest of this year with our experiences and knowledge of the Civil War, through museums and to the countryside where many soldiers died to give us freedom in America.

Let us not ever forget what took place and why it happened in the first place.

And I welcome you to visit Mexico, the Guadalajara area, and Virginia if you have not yet done so.

Both places have so much history that date way, way back.

Continuing with a town near where Dan and I live, Salem.

In the year 1803 a Methodist Society met in private homes, which organized the first religious congregation to be specifically identified with Salem.

Within a decade, they built a log church adjacent to the town.

You may wonder why this interested Dan and me!

Well, this August we will be married forty-one years.

We ran off to the Florida Keys.

There was this small Methodist Church, which the minister believed in us, married us, and his son and daughter were our witnesses.

And when our daughter was born, we raised her Methodist.

Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

May 26th

BEGIN THE DAY WITH these powerful affirmations.

· I am more powerful than I give myself credit for.

· Everything I have been through has prepared me for where I am headed.

· I have overcome great trials and pain.

· My life is a beautiful tapestry of triumph.

· I harness my inner courage to conquer the next obstacle life has in store, because it will only make me stronger.

· I am capable of great things and refuse to play small.

· Today I step forward with bravery and strength.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.

This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Saturday, the past is the past, and my past does not predict my future.
