If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
STARTING A NEW SERIES ON; POWER AND CONTINUING LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Hello Followers,
Today Dan and I are starting on a new series; POWER.
As we unfold the relationship between power and health, remember if opportunity doesn’t knock; build a door.
Much like energy, the word power is something we hear a lot.
In everyday life it has a wide range of meanings.
A person of power is effective, joyful, and creative in life, regardless of the circumstances, while enjoying radiant health and well-being.
Anyone can become a person of power in any sphere of life.
It is a matter of choice and awareness, plus discipline and imagination.
Humans are uniquely designed to innovate and create, but mostly we create messes because we are unconscious of the demands of being an energy, being in an energy body.
It’s not enough to just live well.
We must learn to take life as a teacher.
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.
It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.
WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?
A note; remember there are at least twenty million left-handed Americans. Singly, they can do nothing but unite and change the world.
One person in ten is a left-hander, and every last one of them thinks they are sort of special.
Which is probably true!
Anywhere you look, left-handedness is something of a rarity.
Even most plants are right-handed.
Honeysuckle is one of the few climbing plants that twines to the left.
QUOTES ABOUT LIVING
POWER
Before you get or achieve what you believe you want. It’s really only an idea.
Everything has positive and negative aspects.
When you have nothing, there’s nothing to lose and there’s freedom in that.
When you have more, there’s more to lose.
Develop security not in things but in yourself, your abilities, resilience, adaptability, and determination.
This will far surpass any comfort achieved in any thing or relationship that exists outside yourself.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
THROUGH PICTURES
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
WITH PICTURES
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."
20 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW
So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.
This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.
Relationships are not like ships.
They can rise again, even when all seems lost.
Hang in there!
Don’t let a good thing die.
If your expectations are part of the problem, causing your relationship with your SUP to skew, it’s time to make some adjustments.
Get rid of the splinters.
Change your focus, your attitude and your expectations and you may find that things improve considerably
LIFELINES
Ø If you want to change your relationship, you must figure out; am I messed up, are you messed up, or are we both doing it wrong?
Ø Healthy people adjust their fantasies to work with reality.
Ø Each of us is about as happy as we decide to be.
Ø Difficult relationships offer lessons in what to do and what not to do.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?
SAGE CHICKEN; sage pairs very nicely with poultry and gives this dish a fresh and succulent flavor.
Ingredients:
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons minced fresh sage leaves
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup butter, softened
2 pounds chicken thighs, with skin
1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. Place the onion in a small casserole baking dish and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the sage leaves, garlic, and butter.
4. Use a knife to gently separate the chicken skin form the meat without detaching it.
5. Spread the sage and garlic butter evenly on all the chicken thighs, between the meat and the skin.
6. Place the chicken on top of the onion in the baking dish.
7. Sprinkle the chicken with more salt and pepper, to taste.
8. Cover the chicken with thin slices of lemon.
9. Place the dish in the oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
10. Remove the lemons from the chicken and set aside.
11. Broil the chicken for 2 minutes or until the skin is golden and crisp.
12. Remove the dish from the oven and serve the chicken with reserved lemon slices.
13. ENJOY!
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

Yesterday was a relaxing day. There is this park not far from where we live that has lot's🦆of ducks with feeders. Dan paid 25 cents for a handful of food. Love watching them go after it ❤️Yes, of course we walked the park 🏞️

BUILD A DOOR🚪
If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door. #opportunity#doesnt#knock#build#door#power#motivational#inspirational
Until Tuesday, the only way that we can live is if we grow. The only way we can grow is if we change. The only way we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we are exposed is if we throw ourselves into the open.
