If the path be beautiful, let us not ask where it leads.

Hello followers,

This week, I meet one of my goals!

Thursday of this week, Dan and I posted our one thousand posts.

Since my diagnosis of breast cancer, December 2010; treated with functional medicine, Dan and I have been passionately seeking ways to keep our bodies healthy.

Through the website and blog, we have been able to share our journeys with you.

Sharing our experiences with the environment, food, water, supplements, exercise, mindset, and treatments.

Keeping healthy is not easy in the environment, it is quite tricky and takes much research to consider what is good and what is bad for our health.

I am hoping that through my journey and knowledge posted, that you have explored other ways other than surgery, poison, and burn.

We are not told by our physicians’ options, in Dan and my case; we were told it is what it is.

Do not be a sheep, explore!

It is a big world out there; search and you will seek what is good for you.

RECAPPING OF THE FIRST WEEK OF 2023.

Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley.

It is not too late to take another path.

If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere.

Sometimes the right path is not always the easiest one.

The path to youth takes a lifetime.

The path to success is to take massive, determined action.

Today Dan and I are sharing the fifth step and action you can take, to ensure that you will carry out your resolutions and plans.

DO NOT LISTEN TO DOUBTS AND DISCOURAGEMENT

Your mind might raise doubts, and family and friends might discourage you.

Often, it is best not to talk too much of your plans and your resolutions.

People are afraid of change and might discourage you.

Yes, sometimes they might be right, but often, it is their fear of change that is speaking from their mouth.

Think, use common sense, and get facts before making a resolution, but once you are sure of what you are doing, do not let anything deter you.

This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; HEARING

Our sense of hearing is acutely tuned to the outside world.

What we register as sound are in fact ripples of air molecules being moved in a particular way; these movements are picked up by the receiving dish of our ear and make the eardrum vibrate.

This then influences three tiny bones in the inner ear, called the hammer, the anvil, and the stirrup.

These move in the fluid of the inner ear, touching microscopic hairs that trigger nerves to send messages to the brain; so, we hear.

The act of hearing means we translate the movement of air into ripples of inner ear fluids, then finally into electrical impulses, which we interpret as sound

Tomorrow; SOUND, NOISE, AND SILENCE

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

OPPORTUNITY IS ALL AROUND.

Look for it and you will see that there is never a shortage of things to do or places to go.

An abundant mindset sees life as full as choices.

If you feel as if things are lacking, watch your thoughts.

Your perception creates your reality.

Every time you notice scarce thoughts creeping in, stop and find something positive to center your attention on.

You can train your mind toward abundance and loosen your grip on thoughts about scarcity.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Dan and I also welcome you to go to our YouTube page, over a thousand mini-inspirational short videos.

Until Monday, do not confuse your path with your destination. Just because it's stormy now doesn't mean that you aren't headed for sunshine.
