Indeed, if memory helps us to survive, forgetting allows us to go on living.

CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON SERIES, WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

It’s Monday and half way through August.

And it will not be long until fall.

To be exact, as of yesterday; 38 days 4 hours 4 minutes 6 seconds (around 7:54).

Starts September 22, 2022 – Thursday!

Are you ready for the cold?

Dan and I, flash back to last year and realize we survived another year; full of excitement.

Time is so precious and even though I may look forward to the months to come, I take the time for now.

Appreciating each day and taking what I have learned, good or bad and applying it to the future.

For several years, Dan and I have been blogging on, how to keep healthy naturally.

So, this week is no different; the topic is - Toxemia and the Diseases of Civilization.

Again, our life is precious and we deal with poisons that surround us daily.

Toxemia is a polluted condition of the body's milieu interieur (environment within), due to impurities in the bloodstream derived from improperly constituted food and to a lesser extent from other sources.

The diseases of civilization in some cases commence before birth due to malnutrition and toxemia of the mother in pregnancy.

From birth onwards they appear in a fairly predictable sequence in the average person and are so common they are generally assumed to be a more or less normal part of human existence.

The sequence starts with various minor respiratory infections, proceeding to tooth decay, occasional flu, acne, dandruff, constipation and so on, all considered quite to be expected.

As people grow older the more troublesome problems appear, such as premenstrual tension and headaches in women, slowly increasing blood pressure, the need for reading glasses, back problems and so forth.

From this stage it is only a short step to arthritis, diabetes, circulatory and digestive problems, ulcers, gallstones, kidney stones, bowel problems, glaucoma, and finally cataracts, prostate disorders, osteoporosis, senility, Alzheimer's disease--if heart attack, stroke or cancer have not already broken the sequence.

These are only the common ones, but common or uncommon they are all malfunctions caused by toxemia; they are symptoms of toxemia.

Toxemia is the real disease.

We were designed to survive!

AUGUST – 15th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?

World Greatness Day – August 15, 2022

Professor Patrick Businge established this festival to honor all things great in life.

This day draws our attention to the individuals who have had a significant impact on our lives.

Whether it’s a parent, a friend, or a cherished pet, this is our moment to honor and thank those people.

Above all, it’s a day to think about your own brilliance.

Businge believes that everyone is capable of greatness and that it is critical to build confidence and self-esteem to share that greatness with the rest of the world.

World Greatness Day is celebrated annually on August 15.

This documents the day this holiday was registered in the National Day Archives.

Dr. Patrick Businge, the author of “Greatness Code,” started this holiday as a way to express your gratitude to the great people in your life.

It’s a day to celebrate people, businesses, places, pets, and anything else great in your life.

This day also aims to help people foster or discover the greatness within themselves.

Dr. Businge is a professor who taught over 50,000 people throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, and North America.

He has acquired ten postgraduate qualifications from over seven universities and is consistently improving himself.

Dr. Patrick Businge founded Greatness University to help enact his beliefs.

This university is one of its kind.

Its core belief is that there is greatness in everyone and that this greatness can leave footprints.

This institution aims to discover and develop the greatness in people and help them translate that greatness into success.

They do this through a process they call greatnisation in which they help people discover their greatness and officially declare them great over three stages; identification, research, and greatnisation.

The names of these great people are documented in an annual publication called the “World Book of Greatness.”

The university has many publications dedicated to teaching people about greatness and helping them discover it, such as the Greatness Code, Beatitudes of Greatness, and Les Brown Changed Our Lives.

The institution offers a greatness constantly with Dr. Buisnage and many other sessions to help develop your greatness.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

DO NOT SPOIL WHAT YOU HAVE BE DESIRING WHAT YOU HAVE NOT; REMEMBER THAT WHAT YOU NOW HAVE WAS ONCE AMONG THE THINGS YOU ONLY HOPED FOR.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 19; DANCING WITH PORCUPINES (last chapter of the book)

LEARN TO DANCE-

Many people have conquered and overcome the hurts and angers that grew out of an unhappy childhood or problem relationships in their adult years.

Charlie Chaplin saw his own mother committed to an asylum.

His early life was full of turmoil and emotional pain, but he used his experience to create high comic art tingled with sadness.

Tina Turner openly talks about her violent, troubled marriage to Ike.

It took time after their divorce before she felt whole again and could continue with her singing career.

For many lives is a gutter experience.

But in the end, it’s not where you have been or with what you have started but rather; where you go.

Plus, what you make from your beginnings that can bring you happiness.

Tomorrow, LOVE OPENLY-

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 1; WHAT IS STRESS?

DIFFERENT TYPES OF STRESS-

Dan and I find it is important to look at each of our senses and the effects they can have on stress.

So, the next several posts; we will blog on them.

SIGHT-

Colors have powerful effects on the eyes and the mind.

Strong colors like bright red, orange and yellow are very stimulating.

Blues, greens and purples are much more soothing and calming to the vision.

This is why natural scenes filled with greens and blues are instantly relaxing to look at.

And whether you are actually there or whether it is just an image.

Tomorrow, HEARING-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

GO ON LIVING

Indeed, if memory helps us to survive, forgetting allows us to go on living. #indeed#memoryhelps#helpsus#survive#forgetting#allows#ustogo#living

Until Tuesday, Question to ourselves; how could we go on with our daily lives,

if we remained constantly aware of the dangers and ghosts surrounding us?
