It doesn’t matter where you came from. All that matters is where you are going.

RECAPPING THIS WEEK ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – ARTICHOKE AND CACAO. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

As this month passes us by, I would like to wish all an early upcoming month of March; a peaceful and blessing spring days ahead.

Living a great story is something bigger than you getting up, drinking your coffee, taking out the garbage, and going to work.

I know it feels like that sometimes, and other times like the discomfort will never go away.

But all of this experience is teaching us something, pointing us to a deeper revelation.

Dan and I won't pretend that we have it all figured out.

We don't.

But we do know there's something liberating about letting go and realizing the story doesn't have to be completely about me.

Everyone wants to be happy.

But here's the truth about happiness.

The best way to be happy is to not try to be happy.

Happiness is a byproduct of finding your purpose, of living out you’re calling.

A life that is focused solely on self and one's own happiness ultimately ends up being shallow and unsatisfying.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 4; HAPPILY, CONNECTED

CULTIVATE KINDNESS

Kindness prompted by empathy benefits the giver as well as the recipient, for it enlarges your sense of self-worth.

It has been said of kindness, “It is always possible,” which is more profound than it might initially seem.

Try preforming five random acts of kindness in a day or over a couple of days.

Ask people what they need, so you can target your giving effectively.

Give a present for no particular reason from time to time.

No dream is too big. No challenge is too great. Nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach.

If I’m going to tell a real story, I’m going to start with my name.

To live will be an awfully big adventure.

And still, I rise.

The meaning of life is to give life meaning.

Normality is a paved road: it’s comfortable to walk but no flowers grow.

Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your own actions.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE

LIFELINES –

ü Center on the goal of healthy resolutions and don’t give in to a dogfight.

ü What you avoid controls you.

ü You lose less when you aren’t afraid of losing.

ü Preparation is the key to having a productive conversation.

ü Confrontation is not negotiation or argument.

ü Win war games by convincing the warrior it is in their best interest to stop playing.

ü Saying I care about you and I’m sorry keep differences from becoming irreconcilable.

Tomorrow, starting on CHAPTER 13; HOW CAN I EVER FORGIVE?=

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; CACAO and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how cacao can help keep your body healthy?

Did you know that cacao enhances cognitive function and boosts mental health!

Well, it does.

Cacao is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to mental health and function.

Firstly, cacao contains theobromine, a natural, mild stimulant similar to caffeine, that interacts with adenosine receptors throughout our bodies.

This can lead to boosted energy levels and enhanced cognitive function that provides an all-round uplifting effect.

Cacao also contains several compounds that are similar to our own neurotransmitters, like dopamine, serotonin and anandamide.

These compounds include tryptophan, tryptamine, phenylethylamine (PEA), and natural cannabinoids called N-acylethanolamines.

Together, these compounds are able to activate our natural reward pathways, improve focus, and elevate feelings of pleasure and joy.

The combination of all these brain enhancing components in one superfood promotes positive mental health and provides a beautiful sensation of joy, happiness, bliss and wellbeing.

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

FEAR DOESN’T SHUT YOU DOWN, IT WAKES YOU UP.

WHAT'S YOUR DESTINATION❓

Until Monday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. And forget about yesterday.
