IT'S NEVER TOO LATE

RECAPPING NUTRITION AND GUT HEALTH

Hello followers,

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE; we are all different, there will only ever, be one of you. So, make sure you live your life to the fullest; It is never too late to try.

Yesterday’s actions are history - you cannot change them, but remember. You can change your mind today! You can still reach for your dreams! Give yourself every chance, make use of your assets and reach out with your soul. Follow your heart and go with your gut.

Life is like a road. There are long and short roads, smooth and rocky roads, crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life. There are roads that lead to a life of single blessedness, marriage, and religious vocation. There are also roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand, or isolation and poverty on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Perhaps the most perplexing road that you would encounter is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take? What is the guarantee that we would choose the right one along the way? Would you take any road, or just stay where you are:

in front of a crossroad?

There are no guarantees.

You do not really know where a road will lead you until you take it. There are no guarantees.

This is one of the most important things you need to realize about life. Nobody said that choosing to do the right thing all the time would always lead you to happiness. Loving someone with all your heart does not guarantee that it would be returned. Gaining fame and fortune does not guarantee happiness. Accepting a good word from an influential superior to cut your trip short up the career ladder is not always bad, especially if you are highly qualified and competent. There are too many possible outcomes, which you’re really cannot control. The only thing you have power over is the decisions that you will make, and how you would act and react to different situations.

Wrong decisions are always at hindsight.

Had you known that you were making a wrong decision, would you have gone along with it?

Perhaps not, why would you choose a certain path when you know it would get you lost?

Why make a certain decision if you knew from the very beginning that it is not the right one?

It is only after you have made a decision and reflected on it that you realize its soundness. If the consequences or outcomes are good for you, then you have decided correctly. Otherwise, your decision was wrong.

Take the risk: decide.

Since life offers no guarantee, and you would never know that your decision would be wrong until you have made it, then you might as well take the risk and decide. It is definitely better than keeping yourself in limbo. Although it is true that one wrong turn could get you lost, it could also be that such a turn could be an opportunity for an adventure, moreover open more roads. It is all a matter of perspective. You have the choice between being a lost traveler or an accidental tourist of life. But take caution that you do not make decisions haphazardly. Taking risks is not about being careless and stupid.

WHERE I'M SEATING

Where I'm seating you may not see what I see.

So, therefore; you will not understand what I understand.

So, you may not do what I would do?

Something to think about!

Today I’m going to focus on RECAPPING NUTRITION AND GUT HEALTH. In all Dan’s and my research, plus our experience with diseases; it all starts with your gut. Out of all my posts other than pollution, this one is true to my heart. What this means, is it’s one of the most important features of staying healthy.

Nutrition is the study of nutrients in food, how the body uses them, and the relationship between diet, health, and disease.

Nutritionists use ideas from molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics to understand how nutrients affect the human body.

Nutrition also focuses on how people can use dietary choices to reduce the risk of disease, what happens if a person has too much or too little of a nutrient, and how allergies work.

Nutrients provide nourishment. Proteins, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and water are all nutrients. If people do not have the right balance of nutrients in their diet, their risk of developing certain health conditions increase.

The holidays are approaching; They aren’t just a season. It's a feeling!

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Let us love winter, for it is the spring of genius.

I pray this winter to be gentle and kind--a season of rest from the wheel of the mind.

WINTER FORMS OUR CHARACTER AND BRINGS OUT OUR BEST.

Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

WHY DO WE HATE EACH OTHER SO MUCH?

Sometimes in life, words of wisdom have a way of sinking into our brain and changing our life for –

Words of wisdom, today I have peace of mind, love, joy and kindness in my life.

REMINDER- The most recent survey during the 2012-2013 academic year included 121 medical schools, with an average of 19 hours (SD =13.7) of nutrition education in their curriculum. The survey showed that 71% of medical schools failed to meet the minimum recommendation of 25 hours, 36% provided 12 or fewer hours, and 9% provided none.

Current nutrition education is evidently not translating into practice when only 10% of primary care physicians include weight counseling for patients, and fewer than half of obese and overweight patients are advised to lose weight. Primary care practitioners overwhelmingly support requiring additional training so that they will be better informed about the care they provide to their patients with obesity.

Until next time; "Don't let WHAT you're painting get in the way of WHY you're painting." ~Unknown

That initial moment we feel the urge to "throw paint" holds an energetic brilliance. When we stifle these creative urges, that brilliance is lost. Allow your brilliance to flow boldly, and unrestricted today! This applies to the small act of sharing your flow of thoughts, and on a larger scale - executing ideas and taking action in life.
