CONTINUING SERIES ON BELIEVING
Hello Followers,
Where did the time go! How did we not notice it passing? Wow, its Hump Day! Are you living a moment at a time?
Dan and I believe it’s important to mentally view the smallest chunks of time when we’re actually living and take notice of every moment of our lives.
Therefore, the more often I am aware that my life is lived one minute at a time, the more of a conscious effort I will make to get the most out of every moment.
The way Dan and I are able to remind ourselves that life is a series of minutes, and not weeks, months or years, is I plan each day with a meditation practice, read an inspirational message; along with a walk either around our neighborhood or the park.
Our life is not lived one day or one hour at a time. It is lived one moment at a time. I’m constantly reminded of this fact throughout every day and this frequently leads me to question: Am I making the most out of this moment? Are you!
Each moment of our lives will never come again. That doesn’t mean I have to accomplish something amazing or be working hard or having grand adventures every single second, but it does mean I have to take ownership and be accountable for my time, because in the end that’s all that’s truly mine.
Your time is the only thing that’s truly yours, and right now you can’t change the past, and you can’t control the future. The only thing you have absolute control over are your choices right now in this moment, so make the most out of this moment and every one that comes after it.
So, today seize the moment. Start right now!
Yesterday, Dan and I took our guest that’s visiting us to Bedford. Last November we went to visit the National D-Day Memorial and with the way times are, thought of this place to visit again.
I recommend going, for we take life for granted and D-Day was all about replacing fascism for freedom.
From D-Day to today – rarely has history so greatly been impacted in a single 24-hour period as on D-Day. The allied success in Normandy not only set in motion the destruction of the Nazi regime but also positioned the forces of democracy for the struggle that would mark the second half of the 20th century; the cold war. Since then, D-Day has come to be understood as a watershed event, the first step in a long campaign to replace fascism with freedom, oppression with opportunity and injustices with equality. It is a struggle that continues to this day; we all live with the legacy of D-Day.
While exploring the display, we enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings around us. Not only from the fragrance in the air from the blooming of the flowers, but also it was a great way to get some walking in.
Check out from last November, pictures and a video. ENJOY!!

Today Dan and I went to Bedford, VA to visit the D-Day memorial, for two days ago it was Veterans Day. After an amazing tour around the surroundings, we stopped in the gift shop. Dan purchased an American flag and I purchased the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force speech which Dwight Eisenhower said prior to the allies storming the beaches. I’m blogging this piece in honor of all the military and veterans, here and afar.
Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!
You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hope and prayers of liberty, loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely.
But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the Nazi triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The freemen of the world are marching together to Victory!
I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!
Gold Luck! And let us all beseech the blessings of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.

MAY ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
May you know, in your heart, that others are always thinking of you. May you always have rainbows that follow the rain.
May you celebrate the wonderful things about you. And tomorrow comes, may you do it all over again.
May you remember how full of smiles the days can be.
May you believe that what you search for, you will see.
May you find time to smell the flowers and to share the beauty of you.
THAT'S LIFE 🧬
Keep looking up, that's the secret of life🧬 #keep #looking #up #secret #life #inspirational #motivational
May you envision today as a gift and tomorrow as another.
May you add a meaningful page to the dairy of each new day, and may you make living happily ever after. Something that will really come true.
And may you always keep planting the seeds of your dreams. Because if you keep believing in them, they’ll keep trying their best to blossom for you. By Collin McCarty
As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, 1-16-11; BEEN BLESSED
IN MEMORY OF MY DEAR FRIEND ANA
Dear God,
I’m here to ask You to please intervene in my healing process of body, soul, and mind in order for this process to be complete and successful.
I recognize that You are very busy with wars, tragedies, and other conflicts bigger than just a woman with cancer. But I’m sure that the health of the planet is affected by the health of every individual on it. I know that as long as one person is contaminated with this disease and keeps receiving the poison of chemotherapies and radiation, the whole world is contaminated by it.
Similarly, if one or more people can be free of cancer, receiving an adequate integral treatment and letting other people know, this will certainly increase the general health of the whole world, in the same way that a few healthy cells in a body can increase the general health of that body.
This is my most humble request, then, that You help me end this disease and eliminate all the cancerous cells in my body. In this way, I can have the opportunity to be entirely healed and be healthy to contribute a little to alleviate the health of this world. I will be healthy like You created me. I will definitely be able, with more strength, to help others heal with you might and support under your name.
I thank You respectfully for Your kind attention. ________________________________________

A DIGITAL DETOX
With the average American adult spending around 11 hours a day staring at a screen and Brits not far behind, clocking up nine hours; it’s safe to say you could probably do with cutting back on how much time you spend on electronic devices. Obviously if you use a computer for work or enjoy kicking back after a busy day by watching a film, that’s understandable. But it becomes more toxic if your screen time induces feelings of FOMO, especially when you are on social media.
This chapter will give you tips and tricks to switch off your screen and offers you some satisfying alternatives for how to spend your time instead.
I welcome you to continue to follow in coming posts the complete chapter. But before let’s recap on what the word FOMO mean! It’s fear of missing out. Fear of not being included in something (such as an interesting or enjoyable activity) that others are experiencing.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Are you ready for the recipe – LAVENDER BATH SALTS.
This is one of Dan and my favorite way to relax and relieve our stress. This blend is especially suited for muscle aches and pains. We add a lot of salts to the bath to make it therapeutic, as I’ve found the small number of salts that some recipes call for to be ineffective.
To cut down on cost, look for sea salt and Epsom salts being sold in bulk. Dan and I have found Epsom salts at our local drug stores and sometimes in our local grocery stores.
Ingredients:
1 cup sea salt
2 cups Epsom salts
20 to 30 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Store the salts in an airtight container for later use.
3. When in use; add the entire batch to a warm water and soak as long as desired.
Until Thursday, yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That is why it is called the present. When we begin to live each moment fully, we start to open up to a vast spacious awareness and beauty. It’s as if we wake up out of a dream to see the incredible mountains that have been in front of us the entire time. So, go out and live each moment to the fullest.
