Who is looking forward to a new year!

COUNT DOWN; five more days.

For more than eleven years, Dan and I have been sharing our experiences and knowledge with you through this blog.


Through our experiences of cancer, we have posted from treatments to aftercare.


There have been posts on pollution to how important our drinking water is to our health.


The most interesting posts are the ones on how our lifestyle plays a big role in our health, from emotions, prayer, forgiveness, hope, love, gratitude and much more.

The one thing we would like you to get out of this blog is that not all of us have the same body blueprint and we are unique.


So, therefore; we should be treated individually.


Also, we need to listen to our bodies.

Three words to remember, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.


And celebrate each day!


In the upcoming weeks, Dan and I will be circling back to make a complete circle of life.


The circle of life is a phrase that is used to describe the natural order of life.


It is the idea that everything in nature is connected and interdependent.

The phrase can be traced back to ancient philosophy and religion.


What does the saying ‘full circle’ mean to you?


The phrase ‘full circle’ is often used to describe the idea of completing a cycle.


The way that events can come back around to their original starting point.


The phrase is often used as a metaphor for someone or something coming back to their roots or origins.

It’s an intriguing way of looking at life, and many find comfort in the notion of life being a circle, a never-ending cycle, and the patterns of life.

National Thank You Note Day – December 26, 2022

Think thank you notes don’t exist these days?


Think again!


December 26 is National Thank You Note Day.


Put your phone down, dust off your stationary, and get to writing.

There is no official known reason to as why this day was created, but we have a feeling it has to do with the many presents people may have received on December 25.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes, one quote and share with you.

Today is:


SOMETIMES YOUR JOY IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR SMILE, BUT SOMETIMES YOUR SMILE CAN BE THE SOURCE OF YOUR JOY.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.


Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.


This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!



Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

SWITCHING ON THE SENSE

Today, TRANQUIL ABDOMEN MASSAGE


Abdomen massage not only relieves tightness associated with stress, but it also helps discomfort caused by problems such as indigestion or period pain.


This may also have a link to emotional stress.


It is useful to apply essential oils in a blend.

Many oils soothe pain and relieve cramps as well as easing emotional tension.


If you want to use blends and massage on children aged two to ten years, use half the stated number of drops in the same amount of carrier oil.


Older children can be treated with the full amount of essential oil.


Baby blends will be posted this week.
