Life is a dance. Mindfulness is witnessing that dance.
Hello followers,
It is Thursday and it is time to remember that mindfulness clears the windshield of the mind so that we can see things as they really are.
Do not dread today and wish that it is Friday, just live in the moment and appreciate what today brings.
Living in the now comes with a wide array of positive benefits.
Mindfulness has been linked to everything from reduced anxiety to a better quality of sleep, improved digestion, and even enhanced brain function.
As beneficial as mindfulness is, tuning in to your surroundings, surrendering to the moment, and embracing whatever thoughts pop up is not always as easy as it sounds.
It takes effort, but with continued practice, mindfulness can make a big difference in your day-to-day life.
So, today live in the moment before you know it the weekend will arrive.
Thinking about the moment, about a month ago Dan, our friend Darrell, and I went to Danville, Virginia.
As we journey through Virginia, we try to imagine what it might have been like.
Walking through the fields, seeing the toys, buildings, cars, cooking items, pictures, artwork and much more; imagining that period throughout history.
Enjoy Danville Virginia and imagine through this movie what it would have been like.
Think about that very moment in time!
Continuing as in the previous posts; 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.
The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

WHEN WE SPEND TIMES IN OUR HEAD, it takes away from experiencing life at the fullest.
We may end up spending more time interpreting than experiencing.
Overthinking can kill creativity and inspiration.
Allow things not to make sense.
Sometimes the present moment does not need a meaning.
Not everything needs to make sense immediately.
Welcome ambiguity and let things unfold in their own time.
Give your intuition room to speak and your mind room to rest.
Release the need to know and just be here, right now.
PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.
Dan and I have started back bouncing and walking to Walk at Home YouTube.
It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.
This 10-minute mindfulness meditation practice is a classic way to improve mindfulness skills and deepen your meditation experience.
Mindfulness meditation is not about stopping thoughts but rather about training the mind to accept thoughts without judgement.
Mindfulness is the art of focusing your mind on the present.
With guided meditation, you can achieve that state of peace and relaxation in just a few minutes.
Give it a try and let us know how you feel... Enjoy!
For us, that may be walking through a park, walking in a mall, or going to the gym and just staying home, bouncing, and walking to Walk at Home with YouTube.
This also includes daily meditation and twice a week Tai Chi.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Until Friday, training your mind to be in the present moment is the
#1 key to making healthier choices.
