Life is meant for living, yet we live for the paycheck and we aim for the weekend.
CONTINUING ON SERIES, SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE AND DANDELION.
Hello Followers,
Happy Memorial Day Week-end!
Dan and I titled this post for a reason, Life is meant for living.
For many years, Dan and I looked for the paycheck and lived for the week-end.
Until I was diagnosed with breast cancer, twelve years ago; I didn’t know the concept of life was meant for living.
We get wrapped up in the fast pace world; day to day, that we do not always appreciate what we have around us.
While living in Mexico for six years, as I was surrounded with a different culture; we discovered much more than just living for the paycheck and to the week-end.
I learned there was something bigger than ourselves.
I learned to think as the "how" as the engine.
This would make movement happen and get us forward.
The "why" is the fuel.
Learning the "why" in terms of four levels.
Yesterday we started with the first level, individual goals.
Today the second level that we learned was family.
This takes your why a step beyond yourself to include the people closest to you.
If your motivation includes doing more for your family, or setting an example for your children, then you function at this level.
So, don’t just live just for the paycheck and the week-end.
Go out and enjoy what God has given to us.
SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF!
Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?
Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!
On this day MAY 28; National Hamburger Day.
This day celebrates America’s most iconic food.
Americans eat over 50 billion burgers a year, so it’s only fitting we set aside a whole day for these special sandwiches.
Originating in Hamburg, Germany, the hamburger as we know it was developed in Seymour, Wisconsin, a town still famous for its hamburger heroics.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
SOME CAUSE HAPPINESS WHEREVER THEY GO; OTHERS WHENEVER THEY GO.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS
DO WHAT YOU MUST DO-
Perhaps the twisting is around finances, love, children.
Figure out what is possible and move on.
No question, the likelihood of the ideal resolution to your problem is slim.
Yet it’s guaranteed that tactics such as screaming, yelling, fighting, battling, arguing, and/or pleading will set your SUP’s twisted behavior into concrete as it ties you in knots.
Be a realist.
The problem is highly unlikely to resolve itself or go away.
The only thing that brings a screw out of the board it has been screwed into is a decision, a plan of action, and a lot of work.
Do what you must do, even as you try your best to work with the problem person.
Sometimes the best resolution is that you agree to disagree.
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
Today we are starting on a new herb; DANDELION and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how dandelion can help keep your body healthy?
This week we’re going to post some of the key health benefits that you can find when using dandelion.
Here’s one way to improve your Mood!
Between the relationship woes, career stress, and endless supply of bills to pay, it can be very easy to find your mood compromised on an almost constant basis.
This could make it harder to get along with people and may even put undue strain on your relationship.
If you want to repair your mood before lasting damage is made then you should start incorporating dandelion tea into your diet.
Due to the vitamin B6 content in dandelion, they can stabilize your hormones which will help your mood be overall better and more consistent.
Furthermore, the B vitamins within it also make it easier for your body to convert the food that you eat into energy and naturally having more energy will make you feel happier overall.
Sadly, your body doesn’t have the means to store vitamin B6 and stockpile it for later so you should drink dandelion tea on a regular basis to get the most out of it.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

Until Sunday, get up this morning and figure out your number one action for the day.
Write it down. When you write it down, it has a way of imprinting itself upon your mind.
Never lose sight of the one thing you want to accomplish for the day.
