Hello Followers,
Welcome Sunday!

Have you ever noticed feeling lighter after spending the day in nature?
For Dan and I walking in the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by the trees makes us feel lighter and gives us this feeling of freedom.
It is no secret that nature has healing powers.
We often seek the outdoors in times of turmoil, self-discovery or when we need a much-needed break from our minds.
With screen times soaring, we need nature more than ever.
Something you may not know is that there is indeed a psychological explanation for nature’s benefits on our mind and moods.
The goal of life is living in agreement with nature.
Tomorrow Dan and I will explore why we should be spending more time in nature.

Life is balanced holding on and letting go.
Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm, and harmony.
Balance is something that we do not always recognize as important,
or if we do, we struggle to find it and keep it.
Love is the first important aspect of a balanced life.
It is important to nourish your friendships and make them healthy relationships; let your friends know you care about them. And spend time with them.
It is important to keep your brain active, especially as you get older.
Just like a healthy body supports a healthy mind, a healthy mind supports a healthy body.
Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet
and the winds long to play with your hair.
We still do not know one thousandth of
one percent of what nature has revealed to us.

GROUNDING
Grounding, also known as earthing, is the act of putting your body in direct contact with the earth.
To practice grounding in nature, you must ensure that your bare skin makes direct contact with the earth, which means taking off your shoes and socks.
Ways to practice grounding outdoors include:
Routinely walking barefoot in nature on dirt, grass, or sand.
Standing in humid dirt or sand with bare feet.
Pressing your bare hands into the grass or earth
Lie down on the earth, directly or over a thin cover, and rest.
After a few minutes, do a full body stretch and scan.
Notice the places where you feel any tension or pain.
Bring your attention to those places and consciously breathe into them while releasing tension into the earth.
This week we will be exploring more about grounding yourself in Nature.
All is well in this moment, realize there is nothing you need.
Letting go and allowing yourself just to be in the moment.
Enjoy!
Until Monday, in nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect.
Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they are still beautiful.
