Hello followers,

It is time to welcome Tuesday!

Mindfulness is looking now with lenses of compassion.

Compassion is being non-critical.

Being gentle.

Are you a compassionate person?

Or do you know someone who exhibits that trait?

Compassion comes from the Latin word compati, which literally means to suffer with.

It is more than mere empathy and care.

It is the desire to help someone who is suffering, and to be able to help that person ease their pain.

The nature of humanity, its essence, is to feel another’s pain as one’s own, and to act to take that pain away.

There is nobility in compassion, a beauty in empathy, a grace in forgiveness.

 THE WORD OF THE DAY-SOOTHE

The more tranquil a person becomes, the greater their success, their influence, their power for good.

Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.

It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control.

Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.

Self-soothing is a strategy for dealing with stress that humans learn as babies.

However, as we grow up, we must learn new ways to soothe ourselves as we face bigger challenges.

When you are feeling overwhelmed by a situation, worried about the future, or are overcome with an intense emotion that is difficult to process, there are many ways to calm down and put yourself in a safer and more soothing mindset.

Focus on taking deep breaths.

Repeat a calming word or phrase aloud.

Remind yourself about something you are excited for.

Walk around for a while to get some fresh air and a new perspective.

Count backwards from twenty to distract your mind.

Stand in sunlight for 5 minutes to release natural endorphins.

Ground yourself by focusing on your senses.

Think positive thoughts about yourself.

Write or draw to take control of your emotions.

Take time to do some of your favorite things.

Practice yoga or meditation to relax your body and mind.

Go out into nature more often to stimulate your senses.

Get rid of distractions.

Burn scented or unscented candles in your space.

Play soft music in the background.

Diffuse calming essential oils like lavender.

Wrap yourself up in soft blankets to get cozy.

Warm yourself up to create a comforting vibe.

SOOTHE YOURSELF

Each of us feels our own griefs and pains, and each of us needs ways to soothe ourselves.

The sun can soothe a weary spirit, and rest can soothe a weary body.

What are the ways that you can take care of both your spirit and your body?

How can you support your nervous system and protect your tender heart?

Taking care of yourself is as important as any other obligation you must work or to others.

You cannot give of yourself or to yourself if your cup is empty.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

As you embrace this new day, we wish for your life to unfold with ease, where each step feels natural, and every decision leads you closer to your aspirations.

May you find balance and harmony in all that you do and may the rhythm of your existence be harmonious and smooth.

Remember to take moments for yourself, to breathe deeply and appreciate the simple joys that surround you.

Cultivate a mindset of ease, allowing life's challenges to roll off your shoulders and embracing a sense of flow and acceptance.

It is always important to change your routine around you but continue keeping a healthy lifestyle.

Dan and I welcome you to go to the tag words and explore our posts.

Until Wednesday, calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence,

so that is very important for good health.
