Dan and I have learned that everything in life can be taken with the same approach.
Moderation!
Anything can get out of hand if done too much, and things can get neglected if not done enough.
The list goes on and on of things that are good things that just need to be in moderation.
Finding the healthy balance of every situation and thing in life.
Of course, it is very hard to do this and some days may be impossible, but we think it’s a good goal to strive for.
Countdown to CHRISTMAS is 13 days.
It won't be Christmas without a parade.

So, last night we went downtown to Roanoke's.

TWO STRESS-BUSTING QUICK FIXES
Deploy these techniques whenever you feel the onset of stress or anxiety.
· FOUR-BY-FOUR WALKING
Walk around in whatever space is available, following this count; breathe in for four steps, out for the next four.
Then in again and so on.
Keep this up for at least three minutes.
· A PEACE AFFIRMATION
Take a break from what you’re doing ideally, sit down.
Take a few slow, deep breaths.
Say to yourself; I am, on the in-breath.
Then conclude; at peace, on the out breath.
Do this three times or four times.

CHAPTER 10; BUTTONS AND TRIGGERS
WELL-MANAGED ANGER (example)
Several years ago, when Lee Iacocca was chairman of Chrysler; he addressed the graduating class at the University of Michigan.
He lauded the virtues of well-managed anger.
Way back in 1979, he stated, The Wall Street Journal – advised me to let the Chrysler Corporation die with dignity.
He got mad!
His colleagues in Highland Park got mad.
Tens of thousands of Chrysler people all across America got bad.
Everyone got so mad that they banded together, they talked things over.
Working together, they fixed what was wrong at Chrysler.
They doubled their productivity.
They rejuvenated their factories.
They cut their costs.
They started building the highest quality cars and trucks made in America.
In short, they turned things around.
TO TURN ANGER INTO ALLY, PARTNER WITH IT.

It’s amazing what and how hawthorn can help keep your body healthy?
Here’s another recipe using HAWTHORN:
HAWTHORN NOURISHING INFUSION
This recipe blends together the nourishing properties of hawthorn leaves, flowers and berries; making this a delicious way to support your heart health.
The taste is slightly astringent, with the delicate perfume of the flowers and leaves complementing the sweetness of the berries.
This is great to drink as an iced tea on a hot summer night or hot tea on a winter night.
Ingredients:
¼ cup dried hawthorn berries (20 grams)
½ cup dried hawthorn flowers and leaves (15 grams)
Pinch of honey to taste
Instructions:
1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
2. Place all the herbs in a 1-quarte jar or French coffee press.
3. Pour the just boiled water over the herbs.
4. Stir well and then cover with a lid.
5. Allow to infuse for 4 to 8 hours or overnight.
6. Strain off the herbs.
7. Add the honey to taste.
8. Drink the tea within 24 hours.
