Moderation Is the Key to Life
TODAY STARTING A NEW SERIES MODERATION IS THE KEY TO LIFE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO? BONUS, THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING.
Hello Followers,
Happy Friday,
Dan and I have strived to share knowledge beyond the normal, when it comes to keeping healthy.
I have made it a point to dig into why and how many diseases take our lives.
The new series, moderation always gets kicked under the bus; literally.
There is a statement, moderation is the key to life; in the coming days this will be explained.
A key to moderation is not becoming fixated on one part of life but, instead, taking a big-picture view so that assessing your overall balance of priorities is possible.
With life being so hectic at every turn we can't help but fall back onto things that keep us comfy.
But we live in an age where we've got to be perfectly healthy, and this means that, technically,
there is no room for vices.
However, it's important to have a little bit of what you fancy.
With this in mind, how can you live a life where you can allow yourself a vice or two while still being overall healthy?
As I continue the series, I will be blogging how you can live a life where you can allow yourself a vice or two while still being overall healthy?
So, keep this in mind for the holidays begins -
Hanukkah began Sunday, November 28th to December 6th.
And count down 22 days until CHRISTMAS.
101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.
Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.
That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.
CHAPTER 1; HAPPILY, YOURSELF
CULTIVATE THE SPIRIT
The reality of the spirit is felt in people of different faiths, or no faith.
It’s the bond we share with all humankind.
To value the spirit is to appreciate the mystery and beauty of creation.
Deepen and extend your fulfillment, not by working to develop tour spiritual side; but by dropping negative habits that inhibit its full blossoming.
Believe in something beyond yourself, even if you can’t name it or picture it.
In times of difficulty try the therapeutic power prayer, which like meditation fosters well-being.
THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING
Do you have a deep bond with animals and nature?
You can sense the life source in everything.
Whether it is a random bird in a park or a flower by your window sill, you connect with all living forms intuitively.
Dogs, cats, and other pets take to you instantly.
You have a way to comfort them and they feel at ease with you around.
You also find a deep sense of calm amidst nature.
The natural elements soothe you and feel most at home when surrounded by trees or by the sea or water body, or in the mountains.
How many are you out there are left-handers?
I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.
WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?
DID YOU KNOW?
The largest known hand span of any human being was that of left-handed composer and pianist, Sergei Rachmaninoff.
He could span twelve white keys on the piano with one hand.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
THROUGH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
WITH PICTURES AND VIDEO'S
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.
"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."
So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.
Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 10; BUTTONS AND TRIGGERS
Continue with SIGNS OF REACTIVE BEHAVIOR
Relationships are not cartoons.
Coyote couldn’t choose to act.
He was set on react.
Fortunately, you can determine to make the best of what you have rather than spend another moment of your precious time wishing for what you didn’t have.
Ask yourself if, in your efforts to obtain love, respect, or affirmation; you have become locked into responding to someone in patterns that are unhealthy.
Think about whether you are repeating (coyote like) any of these behaviors that kill healthy interactions:
· Saying yes when you want to say no.
· Doing what you do out of fear.
· Fixing people’s feelings.
· Fixating on someone else’s life, as opposed to valuing your own.’
· Assuming responsibilities because of obligations, rather than a caring or a desire to help.
· Obsessing about your weakness, inability, failure, imperfections.
· Managing other people without their asking for your help.
· Longing for what is not.
· Dwelling in pity parties.
FEELING SORROW INSTEAD OF HURT TURNS ANGRY FISTS INTO COMPASSIONATE HANDS.
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of HAWTHORN. It’s amazing what and how hawthorn can help keep your body healthy?
Did you know hawthorn lowers blood pressure?
In traditional Chinese medicine, hawthorn berry is one of the most commonly recommended foods to help treat high blood pressure.
Several animal studies show that hawthorn can act as a vasodilator, meaning it can relax constricted blood vessels, ultimately lowering blood pressure.
In a 10-week study in 36 people with mildly elevated blood pressure, those taking 500 mg of hawthorn extract daily experienced no significant decreases in blood pressure, although they showed a trend toward reduced diastolic blood.
Another 16-week study in 79 people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure observed that those who took 1,200 mg of hawthorn extract daily had greater improvements in blood pressure, compared with those in the placebo group.
Nonetheless, a similar study in 21 people with mildly elevated blood pressure noted no differences between the hawthorn-extract and placebo groups
NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.
As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
