Music has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours.
Continuing the SERIES ON BELIEVING and SERIES OF HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO KEEP OUR BODY CELLS HAPPY
Hello Followers,
Today is the first day of May and the weekend is here and now. Are you doing anything special this Saturday?
Perhaps the weather is amazing where you are, great time to go out in nature and walk or even have a picnic. It’s been since Tuesday that Dan and I took an adventure to the town Appomattox.
I had taken a picture of a banjo and at that moment not realizing the history behind it.
Words make you think. Music makes you feel. A song makes you feel a thought. When you’re feeling down on yourself, do you ever put on music to lift your spirits? If the answer is yes, you are certainly not alone. Music has the power to brighten our mood, reframe our perspective, and turn that frown upside down in no time flat.
Did you know that Joel Walker Sweeney gave birth to the banjo! He was the Elvis Presley of the 1840s. a professional banjo player, he introduced mainstream America to a music musical. Sweeney, an Irish-American born between Richmond and Lynchburg, Virginia sampled African American music at a young age. He than added more traditional southern sounds to the music he heard, in essence creating a musical form.
Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don’t understand the language that you’re singing in, they still know good music when they hear it.” – Lou Rawls

This week-end are you taking care of your self and making your body cells happy? Certainly, Dan and I have been applying our knowledge and changed our lifestyle. Food and diet are a big role in happy cells. Optimization of your food intake is an ongoing, never ending process, for your nutritional needs - as well as your metabolism - vary from one time period to another, not seldom significantly. The most complex, and least understood part of body's metabolism is cellular metabolism - and it is the very foundation of your health.
The myriad of body cells works in amazing harmony. They are grouped and organized to perpetuate the cycle of life. Somewhat informally, we can sum up these basic functions as; acquiring oxygen (respiratory) and nutrients (eating, drinking, digestion), distributing (cardiovascular, cellular) and elimination, regulatory (nervous, endocrine), protective (integumentary, detox, immune) and motor (musculoskeletal).
While each are necessary for the completion of the life cycle, the quality of it - in addition to the genetic base - clearly depends primarily on the quality of nutritional intake and digestion, as well as on the efficacy in elimination of toxic and potentially harmful agents. Since there is little, you can do to optimize your genes, your main supports in the battle for your health are good digestion, quality nutrition and efficient detoxication.
Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends.

Your body has the ability to heal itself. This 20-minute guided meditation will help you to tap into your own healing energy and that of the universal power. This meditation is a great way to start your day or to use at another time of the day to build your innate ability to heal yourself.
SEE YOURSELF SUCCEEDING
The way you see yourself has a lasting impact on your life. When you consider yourself worthy of achieving your goals, you’ll become who you want to be. You’ll see yourself as confident and capable, and you’ll follow your path. Because you now see yourself walking toward success.
We don’t always realize the full impact of our thoughts, how far they reach or how they truly affect us and our goals. See yourself in this brand-new light. Think you can and you will. Do all you can and you will. Do all you can to become everything you want to be. By Barbara J. Hall
Qigong Flow for Brain Optimization
Qigong is a moving meditation that relaxes the nervous system and is shown to enhance brain function. This routine honors the brain and uses specific movements to balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain and nourish the mind-body connection. It's awesome if you’re feeling mentally blocked or stressed, especially if your studying, need to make some big decisions or are working through a challenging situation. Shot in the Thai jungle full of vibrant green is good for the eyes and expands the mind!
TABLE OR ONE
As part of enjoying your own company, a big step to take is dining alone. It might seem scary at first, so take something for company such as a book, sketchpad or journal; taking your phone can be instrumental in cheating. It might feel as though everyone is looking at you, but actually plenty of people eat alone for many different reasons. You’ll be able to savor your meal and eat at your own pace, and no one will try to steal your fries or split your dessert.
FELT WITH THE HEART
The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt, with the heart. #beautiful#best#things#may#world#felt#heart #❤️ #inspiration#motivational
GO FOR A WALK WITHOUT PLUGGING IN
Often going for a walk involves taking a phone call or listening to a podcast or music. Try stepping out tech-free. Alone with your thoughts, you will find yourself processing any worries or events that have been playing on your mind. You will also be more open to your environment, both the sounds and sights that surround you. Beauty can always be found in the world around you if you are open to it.
Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape. By Bell Hooks
As I continue to be re-reading my book that I wrote four years ago; it’s a personal journey of my everyday experience with treatments that I received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of BELIEVING, entry from 5-14-11; SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH – CONTINUED FROM YESTERSDAY’S BLOG.
I am hoping this will open up your mind to ideas that you never thought of, and will change your ways. I know from where I sit, since my modification I feel much better about myself.
Please, join me in the fight to modify and go organic and stay away from processed foods and chemicals. So many diseases occur from these harmful products. We need to show it’s not all to do with the money, but the hearts of people. We are each a drop of water, but together we are an ocean.
I am going back to Mexico in June for a booster treatment. I am looking forward in completing my journey with managing the cancer. While doing this, I am also showing that people can live a quality of life while fighting the disease without chemicals and surgery.
Until next time, keep your head up high and love in your heart.
Great day for a walk in the Virginia Greenway. Very windy - in the 70s.
1 Mile Happy Walk [Walk at Home 1 Mile]
Let’s Make this a HAPPY day with ONE HAPPY MILE!
This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Today I’m going to blog about GARLIC. Truly, as they say; garlic is as good as ten mothers. There are few herbs that are as loved or as notorious as garlic. It is renowned worldwide for its healing abilities yet commonly maligned for its strong smell and flavor. Its aromatics are so pungent that it even reputably keeps vampires at bay! As you can see, its permeating effect is an important part of its medicine.
What can’t we do with garlic? Not only does it taste good with meals, but it also a favorite carminative herb. These herbs help with stagnant digestion, which can include bloating, painful stack gas, a sensation of food sitting heavy in your stomach and constipation.
Garlic also contains inulin, an important prebiotic. These are starchy substances that feed a heathy gut flora of your large intestine. Having a disrupted gut flora has been linked to many health problems, including digestive complaints (especially inflammatory bowel disease), autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalance, and weight gain. Garlic can play a helpful rule in relieving these conditions. Garlic can also support the immune system, prevents the cold and the flu, supports heart health and type 2 diabetes.
Until Sunday, food for thought; a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in your or the world, that one song says the same, just like that moment. Do you remember that special moment with that favorite song? If you like to share, your welcome to leave a message. Have a wonderful week-end?
