Nothing in the universe can stop you from letting go and starting over.
SPECIAL EDITION, NEW BEGINNINGS
STARTING THE NEW YEAR OFF ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB - ROSE AND 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.
Hello Followers,
It’s the week-end!
Relax and get ready for another beginning.
Dan and I are experiencing something new in our lives.
Are you?
When we make changes, we often have to end something first and it can be these transitions that cause us increased anxiety and fear about what is to come.
This feeling can be steered by our level of control over the change that’s taking place; if we have chosen the ending then although the change can be challenging and worrying, we know it was our decision.
It’s under our control!
If the ending was chosen for us, we may feel a loss of control and the new beginnings may feel terrifying.
So, how do you approach change?
It depends on whether you embrace change as an exciting opportunity or as a scary barrier.
This can affect the way that you approach the ending that comes before the beginning of the next chapter.
For example, if you are looking at a relationship then the ending might be the end of the single life and the beginning is the start of the new relationship with the new partner.
Another example, if you are considering a job change or promotion then the new beginning is the new job role but it comes with an ending of your previous job which you may have loved, or at the very least you were comfortably used to it and knew what was expected of you.
Change is unavoidable in our lives and emotional responses are natural and expected.
If you feel angry, afraid, confused, impotent, overwhelmed; don’t fight the feelings.
Observe and accept them!
Give them a set amount of time if you need to.
Let the feelings pass and then you are ready to move forwards, you are ready to take action.
If you find yourself with feelings of panic, try simple exercises such as square breathing to help you move past the moment.
It is great to set time to meditate, like Dan and I.
We seek the new beginnings but we are afraid to let go of the past.
Every day we work on it and we embrace the change as the necessary step to achieve movement towards our goals.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.
CHAPTER 3; HAPPILY WORKING
BALANCE LIFE AND WORK
Alongside health problems, life-work imbalance is the commonest source of stress in people’s lives.
Don’t let your home life be compromised too much by work.
Imagine, on your journey to and from work; you’re entering a different universe.
Inevitably there’ll be times when juggling home life and a busy work schedule will be tricky.
But if you detect signs of stress in yourself, or fracture lines in your relationships, take remedial action; prioritize home, self and partner for a while.
Explain to your boss; few would disagree that family is the highest priority.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE
LOVE IS WHAT HOLDS HEARTS TOGETHER WHEN MINDS DISAGREE!
MIND GAMES; TACTICS
Screwed-up people don’t fight unless they have you over a barrel.
They mean to show you who is in control and who is superior.
They know they will win because you need what they have.
They know others who need them will support their actions, even when their behavior is wrong.
A difficult person reasons that no one would have problems if everyone did it my way.
Continue tomorrow-
Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
Continuing on the herb; ROSE and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how rose can help keep your body healthy?
Did you know rose tea relieves congestion?
The medicinal tea prepared from rose petals, leaves, hips or combinations can assist in reducing a fever.
It can flush out toxins present in the body and reduces skin rashes also.
Due to the presence of flavonoids present in rose tea, it helps in boosting the immune system.
The other beneficial properties are relief from the chest and bronchial congestion and a runny nose.
To prepare a cup of healthy rose tea, follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Mix four tablespoons of pure rose petals with five cups of water.
Step 2: Boil for minimum ten minutes.
Step 3: Add a few drops of organic honey (optional) and then drink while warm.
The rose hips are a rich source of natural citric acid, fructose, flavonoids, bioflavonoids and zinc.
As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THOSE WHO LEARN FROM THE PAST AND LIVE BRILLANTLY IN THE PRESENT MOMENT.
