RECAPPING ON SERIES; FAITH, SELF- WORTH AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR OCT 10th to OCT 16th. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Are you enjoying your fall weekend?

Dan and I spent yesterday outdoors.

Friday morning, Dan was watching our local news and saw that there was an Outside Fest (GO FEST) this past weekend.

So, we love to explore and walk.

19 PICTURES - ENJOY

Lots of entertainment and events; bands, food, bicycles tricks, dogs flying in water, canoes in a pool of water, and fly fishing.

How is your self-worth?

There are many things that can inhibit how a person recognizes their self-worth.

For some, it might be childhood trauma, low grades, or even bullying.

The following are more common ways people measure their self-worth:

1. Sphere of Contact

Many times, people are weighed (or weigh themselves) by the number of prominent people they are close to and know.

2. Physical and Emotional Appearance

We find ourselves passing judgments just by regarding a person’s outward look – what they wear, how they speak, or how the society feels about them.

3. Occupation

This is another yardstick that people use to measure self-worth

.

Someone can be mean to a waiter and friendly to a doctor, for example, because they feel the latter is more successful than the former.

Career choices often add positive or negative importance to one’s life.

4. Possessions

This is a common factor used to measure self-worth.

It can be anything from the size of your paycheck to the kind and number of cars you own. It is usually material assets.

ITS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Written by me on Wednesday, October 1, 2014

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

October represents several occasions.

The first that comes to my mind and anyone that had someone dear to them or has breast cancer, this is the month to honor them.

I will be busy this month spreading the word that there are choices of other methods to manage this disease.

Proof is in the pudding for I have learned first-hand with the treatments that I chose we can manage cancer without surgery, chemo or radiation.

The saying, “We individually are drops of water but as a whole we are the ocean”, so I am going to spend most of my time working on educating and giving knowledge out through my book and speaking out to the public for the cause.

Yes, we do have choices.

I am so upset and heartfelt over this subject, for I have been affected and now that we can manage this disease not only through FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE, but also through lifestyle.

It’s hard, but not as hard as having surgery, chemo or radiation. We need to make a stand and fight for our lives.

So, let’s take a moment or two to honor all that have died of this illness.

I have several family members that have died through surgery, chemo and radiation.

Enough is enough ~ stand up with me and show my book to someone that needs help, that want’s not to go the conventional way.

We can manage this and live a happier life without side effects.

For only $5.00 on Kindle or E-Book, this might save a life of someone that didn’t know of other ways to manage cancer.

Five years ago, I did a presentation in Mexico at the Open Circle.

I crochet the dress, I wanted to share that color is your journey and you are the canvas.

Today, Dan and I are still passionate on sharing different methods and that it should be your choice.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

SELF-WORTH

When you are doing well, some people, even friends and family members; won’t be happy for you.

It’s because of envy.

A person envies when they feel the same is not possible for themselves.

This is because of low self-esteem and low self-confidence.

It has nothing to do with you, and you should never feel as if you need to dim your light.

Because someone else doesn’t realize theirs could shine as brightly.

When you shine, you will become an object of envy to some, but you will inspire many others.

RECAPPING ON SERIES; FAITH, SELF- WORTH AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR OCT 10th to OCT 16th. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Faith and prayer are the vitamins of the soul; man cannot live in health without them.

Faith is the pathway to finding solutions in life.

Everything in life is far easier to get through when we have faith.

Faith is the tool that helps replenish abundance in the heart and the spirit, not just in the mind.

Lean on your faith as often as possible and you’ll soon come to realize why having unwavering faith is so important in life.

Self-worth comes from one thing - thinking that you are worthy.

Education brings a sense of confidence and self-worth to yourself.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Is left-handedness inherited?

Possibly!

We know, for instance that blond hair is inherited and there’s a distance relationship between blonds and left-handedness; as witness this quartet.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

23 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 8; HANDLING FRAZZLED EMOTIONS.

APPRECIATE YOUR EMOTIONS

Many of us believe that having negative emotions is bad.

We tell ourselves that if we aren’t happy in a relationship, there is something wrong with it.

Perhaps that’s true!

Emotions are to be respected, appreciated, and accepted for what they are.

Signals that alert us to the way we perceive our experiences.

They are tools that apprise us of how we feel toward the actions of others just as a thermometer gauges the outside temperature.

At the same time, we must remember that emotions are childlike.

They play.

They tire.

And when they are tired, they don’t feel good.

When you are feeling down about your relationships, when the interchange gets to you – REST.

Take a break.

Do something different, interesting, and enjoyable.

Tomorrow will continue on APPRECIATE YOUR EMOTIONS.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of NETTLE. It’s amazing what and how nettle can help keep your body healthy?

Oh yes, nettle can enhance digestion!

No one likes to be a frequent resident of the white throne (the toilet).

If you find yourself doing an unnecessary amount of number 2s, either because of diarrhea or constipation, stinging nettle might help you feel relieved (and yes, the pun is absolutely intended).

Stinging nettle aids digestion by reducing excessive inflammation.

Excessive inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract not only keeps you constipated, but prolonged periods of inflammation can promote the growth of unwanted bacteria there.

Being an anti-inflammatory, stinging nettle opens up the gastrointestinal tract and prevents both instances from happening.

As a side effect, because the intestines are cleansed and the possibility of harmful bacterial growth is reduced, the good bacteria in your intestines, collectively recognized as the microbiome, is preserved.

Protecting your microbiome also protects you from all other diseases, like diabetes according to Michael Snyder, Ph.D., director of Stanford University’s Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal keep your body cells happy.
