Nothing is so strong as gentleness, and nothing is so gentle as true strength.
STARTING THIS WEEK ON A BRAND-NEW SERIES, FOCUSING ON YOUR STRENGTH AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE.
Hello Followers,
Every Monday I tell myself; you’ve got this.
Whatever struggle you’re going through right now, remember that you’re always stronger than you think.
Build up your strength, dig deep within you.
People find strength in different ways.
One way to do so is to be reminded of how you can go through the worst possible experience in your life but still emerge triumphant after it.
Welcome to May!
Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?
Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!
A Roman poet by the name of Ovid had different ideas surrounding the etymology of the naming of May.
He claimed that it was from the word Maiores, the Latin for “elders,” that the month gained its name.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
NOT ONLY IS THE UNIVERSE AWARE OF US, BUT IT ALSO COMMUNICATES WITH US. WE, IN TURN, ARE CONSTANTLY IN COMMUNICATION WITH THE UNIVERSE THROUGH OUR WORDS, THOUGHTS, AND ACTIONS. THE UNIVERSE RESPONDS WITH EVENTS. EVENTS ARE THE LANGUAGE OF THE UNIVERSE. THE MOST OBVIOUS OF THOSE EVENTS ARE WHAT WE CALL COINCIDENCE.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS
Well, how do you communicate?
If communication is a handshake, a negotiation, how is it possible with such a person?
It isn’t!
Not in the usual sense of one person sharing their ideas with another to bring about a compromise solution, each hoping to broaden understandings and find a peaceful resolution.
Communication with most people is an art.
But, with difficult people it is an understanding that regardless of what you say, you may not be heard.
Building and maintaining the best possible relationship, especially with a difficult person; depends on your understanding the way in which your words and their delivery will affect the person to whom you are speaking.
Words are precious tools that require skilled implementation.
Depending on how they are put together and the tone of voice used, words are able to touch, encourage, hug, push away and or bash.
They are gifts of concern, caring and encouragement or they are weapons of rebuke, criticism and rejection.
They can, with one phrase, forgive and soon after be a sledgehammer of suspicion, probing questions and ingratiating comments.
Too often when we are coping with a difficult person, our words become wedges, splitting open wounds and axing hope as they pound or cut.
Continue Tuesday-
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on get ready for food and remedies that
heal; alchemy of herbs.
Today blogging on the herb; COFFEE and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how coffee can help keep your body healthy?
We all know that coffee boosts energy levels.
Every morning as I rise, I wake up to the smell of coffee.
Yes, Dan gets up before me and puts on the coffee.
Coffee contains caffeine, a central nervous system stimulant that is known for its ability to fight fatigue and increase energy levels.
This is because caffeine blocks the receptors of a neurotransmitter called adenosine, and this increases levels of other neurotransmitters in your brain that regulate your energy levels, including dopamine.
One small study found that consuming caffeine increased time to exhaustion during a cycling exercise by 12% and significantly reduced subjective levels of fatigue in participants.
Another study had similar findings, reporting that consuming caffeine before and during a round of golf improved performance, increased subjective energy levels, and reduced feelings of fatigue.
So, coffee contains caffeine; a stimulant that has been shown to increase energy levels and decrease fatigue by altering levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain.
