Happy Hump Day!


We all want to be fabulously healthy and enjoy a long, happy life.


But we may not realize that each of us, in large part, holds the answer to achieving these things right within ourselves.


By being available for self-care, you prepare yourself to be your best so you can share your gifts with the world.


Rest and self-care are so important.


When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow.


Self-care is not selfish.



You cannot serve from an empty vessel.


THE WORD OF THE DAY- SELF-CARE



What is self-care, exactly?


 It is the thoughtful practice of protecting and improving our own physical health and mental health within a balanced lifestyle.


 In these stressful times, it has never been more critical as it really makes you refocus and take care of yourself.



Self-care includes the intentional acts of eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, maintaining a strong social network, tending to our spiritual needs, looking after our financial security, and so much more.


Think of it as the gentle art of loving yourself.



While we can all agree it is important to take care of ourselves, it is also incredibly hard to do so daily when so many others around us need our care and attention.


But being available for us is not just nice, it is necessary for our well-being.

Figure out what makes you feel taken care of, and let others know what you need.


No one is a mind reader, but your life is full of people who love you and want this for you.
